Go for it! By the way, it's happy to hear that you agree with the preservation of culture, hope you will teach Chinese to your next generation😂❤

( I will try to check that podcast and tutoring site out, time permitting... haha) I definitely undertand the struggle and it is so hard to maintain that second language if we don't have it around us constantly. :( Forever a struggle.
Forever a struggle for the first-gen kids 😭, and that’s us having grown up in an area with a lot of asian people too. Can’t even imagine how much harder it is in an area without ANY Chinese people/food/culture.

I'm so happy to stumble upon your video!! Totally relate to this! Since moving away from China a couple of years ago, my Chinese has gotten really rusty. It does take a lot of active effort to maintain a language. My heritage language is cantonese too, but my Cantonese is so much worse than my Mandarin. Really would like to improve my Cantonese sometime (one day!) It's on my to do list for next year! All the best with your Chinese studies!
