I love the name Mr Henderson for her cat. Sally has all these men in her life, and Mr Henderson is another man in her life. The show was always trying to find her a match and they made her life look sad without a man. But I like the part of that show that she called the bowling guy on the phone to make a date. Back then a lady didn't call the guy... It was to forward. Did they have more episodes with Mr Henderson the cat? I didn't know the cat was famous. What a name for the cat "Orangey"... Well if they are looking for an Orange cat to play a part then Orangey can play the part. 😆 I will have to see Orangey's Movies and Shows. Thanks.
I love Mr. Henderson, too! He wasn't in too many episodes--mostly just the first season. Sally references him more often at the office, but we don't see him. It's a shame because the scenes at Sally's apartment are lovely.
He certainly make a better and more attractive president than that orange piece of garbage that is returning to the white house, and basically the reason that I have just applied for British citizenship. Thank you Dad for being a brit!
I was always curious as to why Sally named him Mr. Henderson? I also wonder If he was difficult with Sally? What an irony that the "trainer" had to post "guard dogs" to keep cat from getting out. LOL! Now I have to go watch the original That Darn CAT! (Walt Disney Productions)
I'm not sure why she named him Mr. Henderson. As far as I know, he was gentle with Rose. Thank goodness! Rose loved animals, especially cats, so I'm sure she was good with him.
In the 1950s Dell Comics came out with some Rhubarb The Millionaire Cat Comics. In the 1970s we had Morris The Cat, and now we have Garfield. 2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ug4RxZMB_s8/VBlxSJ_hpOI/AAAAAAAAELI/6j1R3CpSlQ4/s1600/rhubarb-the-millionaire-cat.jpg

So interesting to learn that Sally's cat, Mr. Henderson was so famous and had many roles in TV and movies.
I'm glad you enjoyed learning more about him!
