BIO: Remy bears a grudge against all fighters since his father abandoned their family with the purpose of fighting and his sister died soon after.
To Fight against Q you must:
* Not lose any rounds
* Use no continues.
* Get a grade of at least a D or better on every stage.
* Get 2 or more Special Points. (means to have a better grade than the last stage)
* Get more than 3 Super Art Finishes (for 1 round battle, for 3 rounds 5 Supers for 5 rounds 7 and for 7 rounds 9)
Every character has a seventh color selectable by pressing LP+MK+HP when choosing him or her. Each button corresponds to a certain color.

Poor guy. Capcom don't even bother to develop him by connecting him to Nash or Guile, and he has been in only one game - SFIII: 3rd Strike, where he had just one fight, which wasn't even officially referenced in the Japanese sources.
R.I.P. Remy 1999-1999, I suppose.

And ash crimson is inspired by remy. SNK and Capcom do copy each other's characters often. I read that in an article once. For example Dan is a parody of the art of fighting game (Kyo & Robert).

Since Remy is from France, I believe that he has some connection to Abel since he's french and he has amnesia thanks to Bison, which could mean than Abel possibly abandoned his family who he completely forgot about. Plus, in SF4, Abel probably has a memory of Nash since he saw Guile's sonic boom, which could mean that Remy may have stumbled upon Nash or Guile was trained by one of them in his youth. He's probably Abel's son in my opinion.

I hope remy gets into sf6 at some point. He'd fit really well with the game's style and the way he has the moveset of a zoner but plays like a rushdown ia really cool.

This Remy boy looks like the character inspiration for Ash Crimson (if SNK didn't copy him). Remind you Ash first appearence was in 2003 while Remy was released in 1999. They even have the same moves (charging fireballs and that aerial kick) plus the attire and costume they wear and they both french

Personality
Remy seems calm and composed, but in reality he is a cruel and nihilistic warrior full of wrath and hostility. Though he sees fighting as a futile lifestyle, as it "victimizes people, destroys love, and creates hatred," he continues to fight out of an inability to forgive people like his father, who abandoned him and his now-dead sister to pursue the fight. His resentment is of such a level of vindication that he reports fighters he defeats for the authorities to deal with, and an almost possessive hatred that may be to the point of madness; Remy's pre-battle rival dialogue with Alex indicates that the latter thinks him to be insane and in need of a psychiatrist.
Despite claiming to "hate everything that he sees," Remy obviously still cares for his dead sister, whom he has preserved. He also has an inquisitive, self-doubting side, as he often ponders why his opponents fight, or why he continues to fight despite the fact that he abhors fighting.

Realizing his fallacy of painting another shadow over his own, using his grudge of fighting and engaging in the sport as a crutch to the voids and wounds of his own heart, Remy comes to the conclusion of accepting the past and forgetting the hatred that keeps him from moving on, fully knowing that remaining as he is, will not get him anywhere. Though he cannot forgive his father yet, Remy takes a last look at his sister and says goodbye, to make the first step towards a new tomorrow for himself. Letting her body sink into the depths of the sea and walking his last steps in the cavern, a light shines, one that Remy has not seen in the longest time. Wishing to know where his new ways will take him, Remy continues onward on his new path.

I've never played the game, but his father left to become a street fighter, and during that time his sister died. Not wanting to let her go, he encased her in a block of ice so she would be preserved

He's very aggressive and looks for any reason to fight, just like Hugo, I'm sure many of us hate that personality. Good thing they went back to Ryu, I'm tired of Ryu's heroic personality but I don't want a hateful character as the main character either.
