  • National Threatened Species Day is September 7th and we're marking this important day with some heart-warming conservation victories from this year.
Featuring the rediscovery of the Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon, Leadbeater's Possum breeding success, Endangered Pookilas released in Bunurong Country, Helmeted Honeyeaters population boost at two wild forested sites, and the biggest ever release of Southern Corroboree Frog eggs to protected habitats on Mt Kosciuszko.
Zoos Victoria is a zoo-based conservation organisation, fighting for a future rich in wildlife. Learn more about our work at zoo.org.au

I can't wait to hit the road in my new van and see some of these wonderful habitats. Going to turn it into a camper van.
