The Olympics still 2 years to go! I think Thai team shouldn't think about that soon but they need to improve themselves and focus on upcoming events and Olympics qualifiers instead. Remember they've never made it to the Olympics yet.

I love the Thai team with all my heart but their only flaw is they tend to falter after the first round. They did that in the VNL earlier this year and they're doing it again at the World Championship. If they want to be a successful Asian volleyball team like China and Japan, they have to be consistent.
I agree. They always start strong by beating top teams but suddenly lost momentum as the tournament progresses.
I think with more experience, hopefully they can be more consistent from start to finish. This is only their 2nd international tournament with the new squad and they have more tournaments to come before the Olympics 2024. They can learn and improve from it.
It's an obvious disadvantage for the team with short players. they will run out of energy in the long tournament cause they have to jump very tall in order to block the hit they can do that from time to time but don't expect consistency, it is as far as this team could go maybe at best the next round but will lose eventually, maybe in the next 10 years if this team able to hold the ranking, there are many 180cm + kids who are playing volleyball the local clubs now, they are being inspired by the previous team and now this team, it's a matter of time that Thai will have tall players like South Korea or China I don't think that Thailand can be a disciplined team like Japan to use short player and still able to go the final round.

It was so much fun and breathtaking for watching this game. Thai team gave it all with their great effort and perseverance because standing the fight with no.1 team in the world is not easy at all. They played with happiness and joyful so I can feel that too. I believe that Thai team has learnt a lot this year. Can’t wait to see them come back again with their improved skills and team work. As an American, I found myself rooting more and more for Thailand, even in this game. They've been incredibly entertaining to watch and have improved so much this tournament! The USA, on the other hand, has been very disappointing to say the least.
