I grew up with the music of Elton John & had a lot of his records. He was really big in the 70's-80's. He collaborated with Bernie Taupin since 1967 on more than 30 albums. They were one of the best song writing teams. Bernie wrote the lyrics & Elton supplied the melody. They had so many great hits together such as "Levon", "Rocket Man", "Honky Cat, "Crocodile Rock", "Daniel", "Bennie & The Jets", "Your Song", "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", "Candle In The Wind", "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting", "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" etc.

I've seen Elton John many times in concert with his full band, but only once like this. Solo. Just Elton and his piano. And it was a show I will never forget.

Go back and listen to any live version before 1973. Raw and soulful sound. Just piano, bass, and drums. They wete awesome!

Your Song came out the year I was born. My big brother is 11 yrs older than me, so he raised me on Elton. And this piano solo is one of my favorite moments of his career.❤

Bernie Taupin knows how to turn a phrase and his song writing on Tumbleweed Connection is amazing. He and Elton have turned out some wonderful classic hits and this is one of them.

I love to see the reactions when someone hears those tempo and key changes... And it's a PROTEST song! (Read the lyrics.) This song KICKS with power and soul!!

I loved the entire Tumbleweed Connection album when it came out. It is so interesting to hear the contrast in how Sir Elton's voice matured over the years. th-cam.com/video/EdEQkRq_xrw/w-d-xo.html

To me, early Elton is best!🎉❤ Don't know if this is an early or video or not, but the ones he did in the early '70s were fire!🔥

Saw him Saturday night for what will be the last time I'm sure. He was amazing as always. This song is amazing with the full band and the crowd, especially. You can never go wrong with just Elton and his piano though. Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me and this were my favorite ones he did. And Your Song, which is always amazing.

Need to react to the same song at the London Royal opera house by Elton John. It’s got a full orchestra and choir edits makes this song.
