That app makes extremely unhealthy caloric and weight loss recommendations and has been known to promote eating disorders. Please be mindful of the message you could be sending to younger girls who are watching you ❤️
I agree. Sadly especially bc cheer (also ballet, gymnastics, figure skating etc) has known to be a sport where there is a lot of pressure to look a certain way..
I wanted to say something about this but I wasn't sure how. My fitness pal definitely fed into my disordered eating the last few years that I did all star cheering. It aided in calorie counting and other unhealthy habits. Hopefully Gabi becomes more aware of the negative connotations that some people have found with the app:)

Hi Gabi! You have inspired me so very much to do cheerleading. I can only do school cheer because of where I live and they don’t offer comp cheer, but I’m taking tumbling. If I were able to start comp cheer I would be 14 or 15. Is that too old to start? I have the basic tumbling down and the more simple stunts, but that’s about it. I have pretty decent jumps too. Do you have any advice?
