Cause it would be bad if you could just check someone out and they had a legal reason to be there. So they go thru a headache to be sure what they’re doing is right and not a mix up. I moved into an apartment building that has 24 rentable units back in 2017. It was very nice here. Then 2019 came and so did covid. From 2020 to 2021, 20 units stopped paying rent to take advantage of the no evictions. The place fell apart because the owner was getting no rent except from me an 3 other units. They went bankrupt and the city took over as receivership. From 2021 through 2022 it was the worse experience of my life. Nearly every unit of those 20 units were taken over by squatters and druggies. People were over dosing and dying, being dragged out of the building and dumped by their supposed friends. People were murdering each other over drugs. There was a theft ring operating out of the building along with prostitution.
I couldn't afford to move anywhere else in the city so I had to just keep the doors an windows locked an my shotgun loaded. The cops would do nothing. They would say "well we arent sure if these people are actually squatters or not so as long as they keep the door closed they are protected by the 4th"
People were dying every other week from over dose or murders an the cops were just like "Ah well, sucks to sucks" basically

@@Bebedollie I know the feeling Last year new neighbors moved in next to me. The first weekend they are so loud having parties and screaming outside carrying their beers in their hand. From the moment they moved in they were very noisy banging walls and slumming doors. Brought a bunch of friends and they running outside midnight tell 5 am. They are young couple . She called the cops on him because he is beating her up. And this is constantly happening they are fighting inside their house and I can hear all the noise even my whole apartment is shaking. Her Bf got arrested and got out in few days and they are back doing same thing. Been complaining to the manager but there's nothing she can do about it only give them warning. They also played loud music with loud bass. My anxiety is thru the roof and I cannot rest and sleep. I cannot believe that they have wasted so muck time of cops and ambulance, they were there every week. She called the ambulance because her BF was OD and she is also high. and when the cops get there she just tell them he is ok. So on Feb this year . He sold some drugs to the drug addict on the street and after 30 min. the drug addict goes wild and want his money back. He was screaming and going berserk right outside my window so we let the manager know whats going on. It was a drama and my neighbor have hammer and ax to defend himself. And the drug addict on the street got arrested. But still the manager cant do nothing about it. So on Feb. they finally moved out on their own and did not finish their 1 yr lease, they were there only 9 months. I was so Thankful to GOD that they left Hallelujah. So now so I'm happy with my new neighbor another couple but they are very quiet which is great. Hope you can move out on that Hell hole.

The inevitable result is a society of 100% criminals.

I feel so bad for the poor people who owns the homes around this property that paid taxes and were productive members of society. They did not deserve to have to go through all of those who most terrible people who lived in that home stealing cars and doing drugs they don't deserve to be in a nice neighborhood they need to be locked away in prison. We need to clean up our society. And we need to start now.

Then you can FOIA Freedom of Information Act what's being done. If they don't act you can sue the town or city because of these criminals making your neighborhood unsafe, inhabitable, code violations and more. But they have to sign the USPS certified mail with a receipt. You can use this at work, rental, for government, or dny unsafe condition.
