Mysskin, Myself and my Dad adore the way you make movies and we are great fans, we were able to feel the difference in shots, color, cinematography, BGM and story telling, pls keep up the good work and we sure will Support you, the thugs with cement bags in their face opp naren, marital arts stunts in onai last scene, the constable who salutes the thug while repairing the honda impulse chain, the mallu cop who speaks in onai, the doctor, prasanna style of looking at the watch, pandiayarajan as villian, in each movie there are 20 diffrent things that we cannot forget! your great..waiting for Pisasu!
but you can predict scenes😁. unable to differentiate film making methods. 1) dark picturisation (neo-noir) 2) camera crawling along legs 3) characters moving back for unexpected things 4) few dialogue deliveries are like drama 5) No originality, copying films. gayab, kikujiro, batman begins/Spiderman, the machinist, etc. 6) composite suite is made in cottage industry 😂(in the film mugamoodi)

You are right in some things about Kamal and on stage formalities.
But you are wrong about Kamal's movies. Some of his movies are inspired from others, but do you know how many of his movies have suffered loss in theatres, inspite of being very good movies? Did he come and shout like you? He has suffered more pain than any of you.
Do you know how much hard work he puts into his work? He has lost more than you and for balancing it he does some commercial movies in between.
Dont take bad examples, for right opinions.

No point in comparing or criticizing Kamal. Kamal did not venture in Offbeat Movies early in his career. Understanding the pulse of the Audience, he stabilised himself in the field first, supported by Commercial Movies. Slowly he started doing movies of all genre. He himself had admitted that if he has to do one Mondram pirai, he has to do three Sakalakalaavallan. There lies his brilliance. He had consolidated his repute over some three decades and in the process tasted success as well as failures. May be Myskin also should do something unique like Kamal on long term, to make people accept him. And an important learning to Myskin is, Kamal never blamed or criticized the Audience or critics, if his Film was not a success. Despite the fact that Anbe Sivam is hailed as an excellent Movie now, he never blamed the Audience for its commercial failure then or even today. Even recently he told that, Internet critisism cannot be stopped and that's the way it will be. One has to either face it or take it in his stride and move on. In fact he said that's a good sign of Movie analysis.
Ragavendan Varadarajan Sir, Rajni has crossed Kamal by taking lesser risks and hardly losing money. Rajni has amassed more wealth than Kamal.
RajKamal has produced so many movies and lost loads of money, but never compromised on quality. Kamal's salary is not for saving, he must have already put it into Viswaroopam -2. Whereas Rajni is still cribbing for putting money into one Kochadaiyaan movie. Please speak logically.
Also now Mysskin is taking a movie called Pisasu which is not his genre. He himself told its will be entertainment movie. So if he wants to change the system, he needs to flow with it and do it. He needs to direct movies which are entertainers ( as per his movie making) and then with that profit , direct movies which he feels are right. But I feel he is angry cos he doesnt know how to make entertaining movies.
Murugadoss has started producing movies where he is giving opportunities to other directors. So he is also using his money well.
Blaming Kamal is not correct example. Let him try blaming Rajni and we will see the response.
Yes I agree with you but you should keep in mind that Kamal is a star, industry's power centre but Myshqin is just another director in terms of popular belief,

Agree with most of his points but songs should not be vanished from Indian cinema's because that's the selling point for our movies among foreign audience and they like it a lot. It's a very unique thing about Indian movies. My humble opinion

With all due credits to you Mr Myskin for your good works, a gentle reminder. you are expected surpass the Seniors but not by disrespect. You try to fill the space they could'nt cover. Myskkin sir,you are in right path .. i watched you movie anjathae , muga mudi and onayum attu kuttium. anjathae is awesome sir , muga mudi is not up to the level of your thinking sir. onnayum auttu kuttium is only movie where i understood by seeing scenes sir. sir i understood what you are trying to convey through cinema, sir the one thing is like to say is use some hero who is good in market seriously your film will reach next step at the same time always try to perform music in real instruments, i have watched zan himmers back ground score for dark knight rises,, by listening that i felt some thing.. even though that movie super hero movie, i penetrates to my heart , your movie needs such kind of music or more than that because your movie has a soul. only souls can understand and feel your movie not just ordinary people. always try your movies with sub title sir and try to send other countries.. Mysskin sir, after a long time i have seen this very brave speech. This may not be considered as interview. I see the passion you have on tamil cinema and your aggression on why and how the audience to be educated. Please try your level best. But it is never to be compared between the Genre of movies. Yes, if the people require songs they deserve songs. If you are talking about time getting eroded in cinema via songs, then we can alter how best the songs can be used. All songs can be done in background think.. If yes please do. Think any fight,, how can it be avoided in cinemas, because that is the most artificial thing in Indian Cinema. Think how can those aspects be controlled.. We will learn movies based on what you perceive a movie is, from our end. Every dime we spend for movie is not to spend time in a box. We are also working hard to make money, if we are disappointed we will slash you. But your point that we are not supporting you is valid one. So i, along with you will ask everyone to make honest opinion and give word of encouragement. I will you all the best in future. My opinion does matter to people who believe me.
Please give quality films, entertaining films.. Pls dont compare movie genre, movie nationalities and think that our cinema need to come world class. There is nothing called world class cinema. So we are parallel, we just need to think differently. I close my lines stating that you are a director who has magician wand making taking a bunny which you have promised. Thats why he is expressing honestly, I dont find it anything against anyone. Some people might have their b*t hurt, reality is some people dont deserve that quality movie. We are still in the era of songs and fight to fill the emotions and dreams that satisfy our undisciplined way of life. It's just my opinion :)
First of all, I could not understand one simple factor here. Why did he blame on critics and internet? While his movies did not do well at the box office, critics and the social media were the only one who kept praising his films. Except for mugamodi, all his movies have gotten rave reviews from critics. His speech is a let down for all of them. If he could not understand this simple thing, then it makes no sense in supporting him.

Director myskin you are one the best director's ever I wonder your work . But been a director you should accept criticism . Cause in all other fields only experts make judgement but in cinema the audience who are just people who enjoy and accept a movie which they don't know anything of making a cinema.
I agree with him, these "so-called" film critics from platforms such as Behindwoods, Sify, and the "mokka, waste-u, super" solra fans from Twitter and Facebook are quite useless. If you want real film critics, you should check out reviews from the Hindu paper, such as Sudhir Srinivasan and Baradwaj Rangan. They really get into the film's narrative and presentation, and have extensive knowledge of Tamil cinema to write reviews on basis of that.

Mugamoodi kaevalamaana padamnu avanayae solla vachutaanga...... The most painful thing for any director is to accept his movie is bad....... But a true movie admirer would say Mugamoodi is a fantastic movie....... Like seriously wat do u guys expect from a superhero movie...... Obviously kung fu has to be the base and thas wat he did and great narration...... No way I'll accept Mugamoodi was a bad movie any day....... Not just coz of trying a new concept in tamil cinema but the movie as in itself was greatly portrayed....... I would go on and add that mysskin is the only director whose movies r all superb to watch...... Not even Shankar or muragadoss, they all depend on eye candy, songs, great visuals and other shit that movies shouldn't need...... Mysskin brings the soul to movies, acting, logical fight sequences,...... Mysskin is definitely one of the greatest directors of all time....... So sad we failed to recognise him......
