The run: Yee vs Wilde? Potter vs Beaugrand? Who else will be the 10km players in Paris?
Triathlon's final hurdle is the decisive one, where tactics can be crucial... or thrown out of the window. Having already been through the endurance test of the swim and bike, athletes must dig deep to complete the run as they strive for glory.
For the last six months, World Triathlon has been following the athletes at home, on training camps and at races around the world as they try to qualify for the Games. Some made it, some did not, but the race for Olympic gold was never going to be easy. For the first time, World Triathlon has followed their journeys to share the incredible stories like never before, hearing their hopes and dreams, worries and challenges, up close and personal.
This 8-part series follows the journeys of 14 of the world’s top triathletes - Flora Duffy, Kristian Blummenfelt, Alex Yee, Cassandre Beaugrand, Hayden Wilde, Taylor Knibb, Matthew Hauser, Beth Potter, Dorian Coninx, Georgia Taylor-Brown, Vincent Luis, Gwen Jorgensen, Miguel Hidalgo and Laura Lindemann - as they chase a shot at Olympic glory in the French capital.
Episodes will be premiered on the World Triathlon TH-cam channel, World Triathlon Facebook page and TriathlonLive.tv every Sunday and Wednesday from 30 June, 2024.

Really looking forward to the Olympic races. Let's not forget to give the other great athletes in the race some air time though ;). While this (very nice) series is about a few selected ones by design, I'm also looking forward to hopefully learn about some athletes in the "second row" who I'm sure have some nice stories, too!
