- After eight long weeks, the bus is FINISHED🎉
While some things took longer than expected, the bus build flew by and I am so excited to get back on the road this next month. Stay tuned for nextweek'ss video for a full tour & an update on my future plans for the road!

The fact that you can do all the work, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc., is mind-blowing. You should be so proud of your accomplishment. It turned out beautifully. Can't wait to see it totally finished.
Alex everything looks GREAT ! One thing that bothered me on the plumbing.
I am a retired plumber / the hot line on the sink you capped off ! The nut on the flexible hot line is a fine thread / but the plug you taped & doped up is a course thread, Unless you asked for a fine thread plug ( don't think they make them)
you could use/ another shut off valve 1/2" Iron Pipe to 3/8 compression straight quarter turn valve
then use a 1/2" I.P. plug to plug it off then connect your flexible faucet hose to it, if you do, then get the quarter turn type and shut the valve off also its like a ball valve.
then remember on plastic water tanks try not to screw the plug in so far they are tapered thread means they get wider the further it goes in, you don't want to get a crack in the tank later. but screw it in by hand as usual then use adjustable cresent wrench
(flat jawed) and tighten it up but go easy see first how hard it is for your fingers to tighten then use your cresent wrench give you the ideal how tight it really is .

All that, and you missed the wrong way she put on the teflon tape? Wrapped it so end was on the leading, instead of the trailing edge. Keeps it from possibly bunching on install.
@@JoeZyzyx 8:47 shows her wrapping the Teflon in the correct direction when she goes to tighten the flex line nut it will tighten in same direction she is wrapping the Teflon so its not going to bunch up
. the 1/2" teflon is to wide to worry about starting at one end verses the other so as long as she did it it the correct righty tighty she is correct ( all that and your wrong )

One of those car baby sun blockers(the one that suctions cup with the screen that pulls down) would be perfect for your sunroof. Just suction it on and use some command hooks to keep the screen down (not falling down)! Something temporary but totally practical 😁
Such a great idea! Thankfully I have something more permanent now, but I will keep this tucked in the back of my head in case!

Helpful science: If you swipe a magnet 5-10 times down the screwdriver, in one direction, it will magnetize the screwdriver making it hang on to the screws.
Rad! The screwdriver actually was magnetized, but not the screws sadly :( a great tip though, nonetheless!

teflon tape should be wrapped on with outer end to the trailing edge of installation, not to the front edge.

Thank you Lisy! I built out a van last year which is when I learned the bulk of the basics - now its just refining and getting faster!
I admire the fact that you did all this.. you're living the life I wished I could ..except I would go deep into the woods as well.. I really like the fact that you do this with a dog, I really like dogs !.. KingJesus

Have tried a magnetized tipped screwdriver so you don't lose so many screws?
Mine are actually magnetized :) It was the silly screws that weren't 😅

Water is so scary, because even the smallest leak, can make such a disaster over time..
Right?! Scarier than electrical in my opinion, though both can be a bit intimidating😅

Indeed. At least electricity is possible to "turn off" when you are working with it, and if it doesn't work, you just have to do it again.
While water, it's messy..
Everything needs to be emptied, and redone, put back and tried again. 😐
Yes wrong wiring can cause fire, still, less of a chance than water leaking... 😜
