Great vid as always Yondu, IMO takedown models (especially 3rd grade, .3, academy, etc) have the most arguments because that's the price range most people are willing to spend on. I myself don't play football competition like sunday league or similar, that's why I limit myself MYR200 (~USD50) on boots. I might buy myself top end boots in the future if there is decent deals, currently waiting the pricing of demonskin model to be more affordable like the X17.1 around RM350 (~USD 90) right now, but the risk of waiting is size availability 😂
Completely agree with you Josh in regard to the Mercurials Josh, not a bad boot by any stretch but in my opinion Puma, Adidas and Mizuno all offer a better speed boot right now

2.3 are brilliant just bought pair of the MG (multiground) last week just get bad heel blisters for few week's I'm a size 7.5 but maybe should got size 7 cause lots room end toe box area
Oof! Kinda feel called out. Me here with my Vapor 14 Elite and CR7 Spark Positivity Superfly 8 Elite. I won’t argue against the Mercurial line being overrated. They are and have been insanely popular this last decade. But I have really enjoyed the current gen Mercurial and it’s Vaporposite upper. And I did consider the Puma Ultra 1.3 and Adidas Speedflow as options right when I was looking to purchase the Vapor 14 Elite. But I am biased and a long time Mercurial user. I have nothing to complain about the current gen Mercurial other that it’s not the most radical boot out there. It’s a very refined and mature concept now. Nike Football (Soccer) as a whole has been playing it safe for now.
I'm a Mizuno guy, I tried on a pair of my friend's Vapor 13s and loved how they felt. I the tried another friend's Vapor 14s and they felt a little long, did you find the same? Or am I crazy?
@@ZoogaZig As a whole the Vapor 14 feels like it has a bit more volume. I have used and have both Vapor 13 and 14 Elites at hand. And looks like the 14 looks just a tiny bit longer. But the heel construction of the 14 is more substantial than the thinner one on the 13s, so that might be the reason for the 14 looking longer. Trying them on back to back, I feel the Vapor 14s toebox has more space than the 13s. Both pairs are in the same size slightly used. So that maybe why the 14s feels longer.
If the PredCopX would have had a full leather upper (or at least half like the Pulse), and been in a colorway that did not make me want to vomit, I might have bought 10 pairs. Quality leather, aggresive traction, Predator elements...... it could have finally been the true return of the Predator You were _this close_ to greatness Adidas....
I got a pair and I love them. I agreed with everything you said when I got them, but I honestly can’t say I notice any of them. Additionally, love the color way, but I am colorblind so that might have something to do with it.
