      I have not! Great looking grill and I've heard good things about it. You should be able to get 3 chickens on it easily!

    The video was already great and then the girls made my eyes tear up. So wonderful!
    I think I missed something; was that an onion that I saw in the smoker for aroma?

    • @brandondoesbbq4252
      @brandondoesbbq4252  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha thanks! And I was using the onion to hold my thermometer probe!

      Yeah it would be nice if there was any information about how he actually smoked it in the video

    Not sure if I missed but how long did you smoke them?

    • @brandondoesbbq4252
      @brandondoesbbq4252  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheSteveo311 if I had to guess, probably 1.5 to 2 hours. Chicken normally doesn't take too long.

      You didn’t miss anything, he didn’t hardly include anything about actually smoking the bird in the video.

    Brilliant video mate! How long did they roughly take? Just starting out :-)

      Thanks man! And happy to hear you’re getting into the world of BBQ, you’re gonna love it! Those chickens probably took about 3 hours! It all depends on what temp you’re cooking at (id shoot for 275ish) and the size of your birds.

    Ummm what's that onion trick?

    • @brandondoesbbq4252
      @brandondoesbbq4252  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The onion is just a way to have a probe thermometer at grate level so I can read the temperature at that exact spot. They make little clamps to clip the probe to the grate but I have yet to buy one and always have an onion or potato handy lol.

      I rub my grill racks with onion before cook, then throw it in fire box. Makes for stick free grill rack and nice aroma in the meat.
