I just started a replay of Falling Sky and the first place I came to was your channel for a playthrough refresher. I always admired the the effort, time, and energy it took to solo all these, and if you ever come back to do the others, know that your work is appreciated. Among the most helpful and enjoyable videos on COIN I've seen.
21:20 - it was an ambush. You don't roll a die and just remove the piece 4.3.3 Ambush The Defender must remove a piece for each Loss suffered, including Leader, Legion, Citadel, or Fort without first rolling a 1-3. 26:40 The bots are a pain to deal with and I don't know the exact rules for bots, but I would say that by "player pieces" only players are meant. Non-players are not players. 28:38 - you cannot retreat into uncontrolled space. But otherwise you can retreat to Britannia. 3.2.4 the Defender selects one adjacent Region (it may be across the adjacency arrows in and out of Britannia). The Region must be under Control of the Defender or of a Faction that agreed at Step 2 above (not No Control). - you are mentioning that later but I will leave it here so noone gets confused. Thanks for the video! :)
Just found these playthroughs! So cool! One thing. I think Vercingetorix wouldnt have played the event because he couldnt have gain control as he needed more pieces than belgae and romans combined, so more than 7. None the less, looking forward to watching the other parts. Thank you!
Hey Jonas! You're probably right... The Falling Sky playthrough took me a few videos to get the flowcharts to be more comfortable, compared to the other COIN titles so far. I will likely come back and do another playthrough at the end (once the other COINs wrap up). Not sure why those ones gave me so much trouble! Anyway, hopefully it doesn't take away from the enjoyment factor too much!
