Simon's remodeling of their malls has really sucked whatever sould they had out of them. So much grey and the same tiles. Their recent christmas commercial, which has a certain Florida/Hawaii vibe with a Jason Mraz style singer, just feels so antiseptic and reminds me of the bland christmas decor most malls have now. I mean, I not saying every mall needs to look straight out of Vice City, but they should definitely make them better, not just more modern and acceptable.
Simon killed off Granite Run Mall so I wouldn't call them great. Lmao before Simon came along Granite was doing awesome.
So I went to Cielo Vista Mall today and was open carrying my firearm which is legal in Texas. I was stopped by one of your security guards that handed me a Code of Conduct stating you don't allow guns. Okay:
1. Where is the mandated 30.06 or 30.07 signage on all exterior doors?
2. Why was your security guard very willing to immediately trespass me for this reason?
3. If I am not allowed to open carry yet you have no signage does that mean concealed carry is allowed?
4. If you are denying my rights to carry legally are you then taking my safety into your hands to the point where one can take legal action against your business for failing to have security personnel on property to deal with any situation?
5. I have listed Cielo Vista Mall on Texas 30.06 app so all gun owners know to not frequent your malls, given the fact that malls in general are struggling to make ends meet should make you more open to LEGAL patrons. Your Code of Conduct keeps legal guns out but how will you deal with those who care less about your Code of Conduct??? Banning me from carrying in your mall is your right, but does it really make sense? Even some police in the mall said the way you're doing this is utter bullshit. Off the record of course.
I liked going to the mall but now I will give Amazon more money that could go to business in your malls.
