Power Station's are a game changer especially camping remote, wouldn't be without mine and it runs everything l have electrical. Big fridge, toaster, jug, phone etc etc. They are truly remarkable.
@@waynebrown6553 That's interesting! I wondered why we say 240 in Australia and it's 230 here in Europe, but we can still plug in our Aussie appliances here.
@@nigelandsueadventures Yes which is why RCDs' are so important as they cut power quicker than a heartbeat. 110v in USA is still "shocking" (sic pun intended) but not as instantly lethal. You definitely don't want a three phase (415v) shock ! Not sure of European standards but you should have safety switch on your main inlet even if not mandatory. Love your vids and enjoy your travels.
Looks like a great Power Station well done - Have to admit a new one for me- thanks for the info. Travel safe -and of course have fun, appreciate you honesty. ❤️🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
Love the idea of the power pack for free camping , I would look at it if building another van , cheers for the info , looking forward to seeing more on the road stuff , keep the shiny side up , Pete 👍👍🥂🥂🍺🍺
Cheers Pete, its been a bit of a learning curve setting up the input with solar from the van roof, but we are really happy with how we've got it working now.
Hi Nigel and Sue, I got one of those in my space pod camper for a backup. Absolutely loving best thing I ever bought. Probably not the same brand but very similar they just so good anyway keep up the good work you guys Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 We are on the big island 🏝️
Hi Nigel & Sue, Thanks for this video, I've been looking into adding solar panels, extra leisure battery and inverter to our Bessacarr motorhome to give us some power on the odd occasions we would be off grid but was struggling to justify the cost. this is a perfect solution for us and the extra 10% discount helps offset the rubbish GBP to Dollar rate at the moment. Good work both 😃😃
Cheers Jim, hope you find it useful. Being able to charge it while driving is a huge bonus too, especially when the weather is as rubbish as we are experiencing right now!
I always find that if the camp site power keeps tripping, just plug that into the power bank, i use ecoflow but same thing, then plug the power bank into the van hookup, it acts as a good "middleman" and prevents trip outs.
Thanks!! I’m loving it shorter. Yes the AllPowers is available in Australia with Aussie sockets. There should be a country selector on the website so you can check out the different options and pricing for AU.
Jenny I just have a plug adapter and use my Australian straightener. A hairdryer uses a LOT of watts, you’d need a really big inverter to run a hairdryer. I didn’t even bring one
Hey guys, are you connecting the power station to your new roof solar, or will you be running two batteries / systems for different appliances? Can you use your roof solar to charge the AllPowers ?Cheers
Also, try setting up a rotary cam changeover switch from your roof solar so you can divert the incoming solar direct to the power bank, saves all the hassle of fold out panels, having to keep moving them, storing them etc. Quick link as to how i done it if of any use. th-cam.com/users/shortso_zQe8Mrlbs?feature=share
Yes we did this set up today. We don't have the rotary cam changeover switch so I'll get Nigel to check that out because it sounds like a great option.
@@nigelandsueadventures It is handy to have the switch as it diverts all the power to the power bank and charges it much faster than the cigarette lighter option, also if you need to work on the battery or solar system you can just switch it off without the need to disconnect. loving following your progress and the van is looking amazing. Happy travels 🙏
Fantastic and a great explanation of the product and usage. Love watching you both living a great life.
Thanks so much! We only have one life 🧡
I look forward to your weekly vids so much guys 😂
Awww thank you Rashaal! We appreciate you watching each week!

@@nigelandsueadventures yes its a bonus, even has an EV charge option, not that l have the attachment lol 😆
Actually Australia transitioned to 230v from 83,with Qld changing in 2020. WA remains 240v as far as I know.

Here’s me thinking Nigel would be the one straightening his hair!! 😅
Haha you know he loves to make a joke about that too!

Hey Sue, are you able to use your hairdryer and straightener from Australia or did you have to get UK/EURO ones

Thanks Sue 😊 I'll probably be leaving mine at home too.
Love your vlogs and insta reels. 😊
thats the go..just wondering does it have jump start capabilities?
Good question!! I’m not sure but our starter battery is hooked up to our solar and smart charger, so theoretically it should never run flat!
Hi folks - just tried to order the power station in Uk but invalid discount code ?
Oh dear. Please let me get back to you once I check with the company. This is the code they gave us to give you. Can you try Nigel&SueAdventures
Very compact better than my setup a battery an inverter it’s a real pain
Compact and portable!
Hey guys, are you connecting the power station to your new roof solar, or will you be running two batteries / systems for different appliances? Can you use your roof solar to charge the AllPowers ?Cheers
Hi Daniel, we haven't done as yet (we need a ladder haha!) but we can use the Roof Solar, yes.
Yes but how much in aud?
You should be able to choose Australia on the website which will give you up to date prices.
Stuff like this is usually cheaper in Australia than the UK.
