Funny story: on the DVD box-set there's a trivia subtitle called the Homage-o-Meter explaining the inspiration for a particular scene or gag, and for the scene in "Battles" where Mike "dies", the subtitle simply reads "EVERY WAR MOVIE EVER".

Dead Parrot was what Absolute Jokes used to be called. They also have all episodes of Peter Serafinowicz's (Dwayne Benzi's) sketch show it's a bit hit and miss but it's a real shame it only had one series. Anyway, great video! Subbed!
