I like the new Lars combos, and Lars seems more safer than Tekken 7, they made him being able to pressure, that’s what i think Either way, Lars airlines will still take you to the wall of your dreams ✨
db1+2 got buffed actually, by holding down you can go into DEN, and on CH...DEN1,2 is guaranteed 11:20 it also goes into LEN SEN3+4 now has the same effect as SENdf1, it's spikes for a grounded hit, giving you d1+2 and mix-up potential if they wake-up ff2 now hits grounded 100% of the time now. Both front facing and back facing. 111 and DEN3 wallsplat in heat
He does seem that way. I think he'll be a menace if they leave him as is, and I hope they do just that. He doesn't seem broken to me. Seems just right.

@@randomuser-mv7bb I miss his lightning assault stuff. It gave a bit of air to breathe, but I think he can get in on his opponent easier than before and poke with Flash Bullet. I wouldn't mind giving him just a bit more though.

If everyone are significant stronger, then Lars position won't change much compared to T7. I think it won't hurt buff his neutral just a little bit so he can fight on par with other strong characters
Wind Liger is my favorite move. Now that it's safe and doesn't counter hit launch, i think lars should be able to go into SE after the move. It would look sick
This excites me. I became a Lars main only because i finally went through the adventure/story mode on Tekken 6 back in 2012. He was the main character, and i thought his moves and stances were pretty cool. Had no idea he was considered top tier/borderline busted at the time though lol
Haha. Yeah back then people really didn't like how great he was. He seems quite some work to win with now though relative to the rest of the cast. Still the King of Cool though.

As someone who only dabbled with Lars, this is a great video. Something I noticed playing the beta that you didn't mention is that his new WS2,3 actually does way less damage if he goes into Limited Entry. With no stance it's about 35dmg (more than WS2,1 making it his most damaging wsi13 punish) but seems to only be neutral on hit. With Limited Entry it only does 23 damage (If I'm remembering correctly) but in return it seems very plus on hit and he gets a free stance mixup. I'm guessing they did this because of how strong Limited Entry is in heat.
a lot of people didn't realize how good is b1+2 now and you forget about ff2 flip grounded this is a huge buff for his oki and now i like doing ss2 Wait a little then ff2 to lunch them lol btw thx for the info 🤍

I heavily agree with Flash Bullet, it was love at first sight when I labbed this move on the first day of the CNT❤❤. I happily take this move of a ch launcher he had before or that crappy has DF, 2, 1 in Tekken 7. Flash Bullet might change, but I hope not too much cause that move makes Lars sooooo much better. I fucking beat Kazuya players who mash DF, 2 at the beginning of the round, so it is definitely in the range of 15 or maybe 14 frames startup. This was one of the moves that made me say: "I don't wanna play Tekken 7 Lars anymore." 😍
So Kazuya's DF2 is 14 frames, if you're beating them out, that makes me think Flash Bullet is a 13 frame move! But that might be wishful thanking. We shall see my friend!

for DF+2 Silver bullet, You can still combo on counter hit if you choose not to transition into SE, some stuff I learned that work: Edit: looks like CH df+2B, dash into f1+4 is the strongest one. the below ones are still good CH df+2B, ff+1+2 CH df+2B, ff+3+4 CH df+2B, B3 SE (for mixup?) CH df+2 dash DF3 DE (for mixup?)
Fantastically well made video! You have a good voice for this too. I'm happy with allot of the changes but, I hope they still give him a few more moves in the final release. Something I have always wanted from Lars is a high execution move. Like an Electric God Knee lol. Or even a couple blue spark variations of moves. I get that he's always been relatively easy to play so they didn't make him too strong in T7 but it would nice to have more powerful tools for more dedicated players. I can dream, but still had allot of fun with him.

Considering that some of what he does now is confusing people, new players to T8 may find him intimidating to use, and turn to Newer, heat friendlier, built from the ground up, Tekken 8 characters. So if not initially, maybe after a season or two? You never know.
Now I see why Tekken is considered to be the best fg. One character can have so much utility and now in Tekken 8 they've added visual elements that make characters stand out more compared to previous titles.
Yes, this game is beautiful and complex . . . and frustrating hahaha. A lot of fun and every character can function in so many ways. T8 is going to change things I think. Could be the future if they nail it.

Lots of neat stuff but seems none of his core weaknesses have been addressed particularly woth his neutral game. Time will tell though, hope he's good but seems like a whole lot of unnecessary stance additions without any real changes to his fundamental flaws
You know that could be so. He still seems quite steppable, with Wind Liger being a saving grace. I think he is about real and fake, 50/50 mixes now with the stances. But yes. Time will tell.

Lars was the best new comer, I had to get used to him being a Swedish son of Heihachi but he's great.

Im not too sure about it but I've seen Heat Bow Shock into dash can lead into FF 4,2 (Cross Transistor). But it should be tested!
