They were steered wrong with that beef jerky. Regular or peppered/teriyaki would be a good choice to start.
That guy did them wrong. Granted he probably didn't know they were foreigners but they literally asked what the most popular flavor was and he said cherry?
Wtf? Teriyaki for sure. Or original or peppered.... definitely don't give someone unsure about jerky cherry. That's vile. ^.^
Facts! I'm all for the cherry jerky, but for any newbie you GOTTA go with the original or teriyaki.
When you're driving 12 hours across Texas, Buc-ee's super clean restrooms are a godsend. Then the delicious food and drinks you get will naturally lead you to the next Buc-ee's. It's a delicious cycle of eating and relieving yourself every 3 hours until you get to the wastelands that aren't Texas (the other states).
We are invading Colorado and southern states with Buc-ees as fobs.
Stick to the regular flavored jerky. Pecan trees grow wild in the US. I have five in my yard. Pecan pie will change your life.
The squares you called cake is actually different types of fudge.
I know. And he said he likes nuts, but he didn’t seem to recognize the pecans. 🤷🏻♂️
@@EricT3769pecans aren’t a thing in the UK. I’ve seen so many of these food videos and people from the UK rarely have even heard of a pecan let alone tried one.
Honestly after watching so many of these I feel sorry for them. Their palates are so bland it’s honestly like they don’t even know what good food is. They still eat food that looks like military rations from WWI as a staple in their diet and call it good.
@@csailer2353 The U.S. provides 80% of pecans. China and the U.K. are the largest consumers of U.S. pecans, but you’re right. Since it’s not native they aren’t in any classic British pies or tarts. Got this info off the internet so there’s that. Lol
He does say they have bland food. I’m sure some of it is good, but they seem to be missing out on some really good food.
@@EricT3769 yeah I don’t know why in this day and age they aren’t a little more adventurous in their food creations and don’t have some of our delicacies. I know some of it might have to do with their restrictions on what’s allowed over there but I doubt spices are illegal.
There are 120 gas pumps at the New Braunfels, Texas location. They will let you sample the jerky before you buy it. Just ask. Jolly did not do any of the bbq, Bucees is famous for. Bucees will often have significantly cheaper gasoline because selling fuel is not their main business. Their main purpose is to get you off the Interstate and into their store. People spend huge amounts on impulse purchases.
Kolaches immigrated to the USA from Czech Republic. A huge Kolaches factory was located in West, Texas where most town citizens families immigrated from theCzech Republic. When there was a fertilizer explosion in West, the. Ambassador from Czech Republic arrived to offer help. He knew many from West had asked for visas in the past. Great snack anytime of the day or night, bread, meat, and cheese , yum, yum
Most Buc-ee’s have 120 fuel pumps and 60 refrigerators for ice on the outside. Also their bathrooms are award-winning because of the artwork and how clean they are. Plus they make their own barbecue inside, praline candies, brownies, jerky and fresh bread. Plus they have a home goods store, a camping store, a snack shop, huge drinks section, etc. etc. They have about 15 stores in Texas and they are expanding to other states.
I think they have one in Fenton, Missouri (St. Louis) unless it’s a competitor. Whatever it is, it’s massive like the gas station in this video.
Buckee's is mostly in Texas. They have started slowly to open new gas stations in a couple of other states in the South.
Florida and Tennessee that I know of maybe another one in Georgia, not sure.
We have 3 in Alabama. 1 in Leeds AL here. My family all loves it. The brisket is good but I love the burritos. They started selling a Philly cheesesteak one that is *chef's kiss*.
Florida has two. One in Daytona and in Saint Augustine. We have another one being built in Ocala FL, it's scheduled to be done in 2025
There is at least one in Kentucky, around the Richmond/Berea area.
I LOVE beef jerky! They were suggested a really weird flavor. Im a big fan of garlic and pepper jerky. That is often what i use when i smoke my own jerky.
Buc-ee's started in Lake Jackson, Texas in 1984. For the longest time, they were only in Texas and have grown in size with each new location. You can still find original stores that are small like a traditional station but all the new one's are located on major highways and the size of a department store.
One thing they didn't mention and was the main claim to fame when Buc-ee's started and that's "We will always have clean restrooms!" and they do. You'll never find cleaner gas station restrooms.
Majority of Buccees are in TX but spreading throughout the US. I've been to 3 on my way to Georgia!! Hope they show the bathrooms - beautiful!!!!
The meat is prepared in house according to the technique and spices of a chef who won several championships in competitive barbecue cooking. It's restaurant-level quality at a gas station.
That jerky they chose was terrible. It’s super sweet syrup on it and you can’t taste the meat
thats why you dont ask minimum wage employees non tipped employees for suggestions lol. ESpecially if he seems like he barley speaks the language. If they got someone cooler, they literally wouldve been able to just go down the line and sample each jerky. they break you off a small piece if you ask to try.
Buc-ee's have THE CLEANEST bathrooms I have ever been in anywhere. Great stalls in the restroom too. That's the place to go if you need to go! And then stock up on food!
good to know about the clean bathrooms.. Clean Bathrooms says alot about the business
The thing about petrol/gas stations is that they make most of their money on the items sold in the shop. The money they make on gas mostly goes to the fuel company.
And yes there are several Buccee’s locations around the country. Most of them are in Texas, but they have branches in other states. The first one outside of Texas was built in 2018 in my home state of Alabama. Currently there are locations in Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee. And there are plans to build locations in Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Virginia and Wisconsin.
They barely scratched the surface of this place, they didn't talk about the 100 gas pumps, the large, very clean bathrooms, the wall of pre-packaged jerky and snacks or the other half of the store where you can but shirts, hats, blankets or home spun goods like signs and home decor. You can buy coolers, smokers and a million random things that you didn't even know you needed or wanted. It is a must stop if you are traveling by and if you are local, I bet it is where you go for your gas and road food. There are 48 locations, 34 of them in Texas and the rest spread across the Southeast USA. They are all spread out enough that when driving across Texas, you can stop at all of them to take a break.
We aren't in a food coma. Please realize all of the reactions Jolly is having to restaurants are normal for us. We really don't stop at every restaurant all the time. They aren't a novelty or somewhere that people can't wait to visit. They are just 'here' for our entire lives. We just drive by unless we are hungry.
As for Buck-ees -- it's more in the south of the US. I live in the northeast. I have never seen one. They aren't in this part of the US. Many of the restaurants you will see are very regional, and someone from Pennsylvania (like me) will never have immediate access to some in California. (Philadelphia to Los Angeles is 2,700 miles apart - we don't run to the other for a burger or a Philly cheesesteak!) The US is HUGE, and some of us on the east coast will never experience restaurants that are on the west coast - and vice versa.
If you're not used to the foods like what they're eating in the video then you'd feel something similar to a food coma. British foods aren't as in depth as what we have in America or as some other cultures. Though I don't think that some Brits are aware of how hard it is to get respectable services since their restaurants are shit in some areas....
If people have the time and money to travel across the U.S., trying those special regional dishes is reason enough to do it! I live in the Chicago area and my favorite 2 dishes are the stuffed deep dish pizza from Giardano's and Italian beef sandwiches ftom Portillos!🤤
There is one in Kentucky if you are ever that direction, I have driven from Ohio to go there, it was roughly a 3 hour drive one way.
@@ShannonBlack3 if you try to travel cross america, make sure you have at lest 1 month planned because a trip in 1 area can last at lest 1 week to see everything in 1 area or honestly 2-3 months
Food is plentiful, varied and about half the price of UK....so that explains a great deal about us😂 it started in TX but they have moved into AL, TN that I've seen.
You should get a PO Box so your subscribers can send you some food.
i move in a month, but once i have i might actually do that!
i am also trying out some amerian cereal on twitch.tv/L3WG today from an american viewer of mine

You do not have to go inside the building to get gas in your car. You can pay at the pump with a credit card.
Yeah although during road trips youre gonna wanna stop for some coffee and take a leak.
You can get great kolaches at our lical donut shop. We love them. You fold the dough over the sausage and cheese. The cheese melts and the sausage (already smoked) gets heated as it bakes.
Buc-ees also has one of if not THE best bbq sandwiches I've ever eaten. It's cooked and cut fresh right in store and made into sandwiches. I had to special order mom one since she doesn't eat bbq sauce. The Beaver Nuggets are awesome too.
This isn't even showing half the stuff you can but at Buc-ees.
Indeed, the best kolaches are at local donut shops. Lone Star Bakery of Round Rock, TX makes very respectable kolaches, though it's the donuts that melt your brains.
@@Miesque1973 my local bakery was out of the chocolate cream filled donuts I loved one day on my way to work. Because I was a regular they took the long johns that weren't filled yet, filled them with chocolate cream then still dipped the tops in chocolate. They only charged me what they would for the regular ones. I was on chocolate overload all day but man were they delicious.
😳 Those are not Kholachies. Kholachies are made with fruit , apricot, cherry, plum, strawberry or sweet cheese . Never sauage/a meat and cheese. 🇨🇿❤
See videos like this where British people are reacting to american food makes me wanna just move there and make food for them😂
Yeah the conquered the world for spices yet they don't use them in their cooking. 😁
They were badly misled on their jerky choice. They should have gone with a "basic" like they did with the kolache.
There have been other gas stations that included a lot of groceries and had a space rented to a fast-food chain (i.e. McDonald's, Burger King, Churches, etc.), In Texas, many of the BBQ chains began their existence in gas stations. In central Texas there are a lot of "meat market" places that specialize in jerky. Buc-ee's combined a lot of the positives with lots of clean bathrooms to appeal to travelers.
100+ gas pumps never have to wait in line
Buc-ees has dozens of stations in the Southeast USA.. all of them are huge and there is one in Tennessee that is the largest. Their BBQ is amazing...be it a gas station or a restaurant.
I live 1 hr from one of the largest Buc-ees in Texas North of Houston. They also have gifts and clothes. I have never seen it not packed with people coming and going. They have such delicious food...I love their regular beef jerky!
They sure picked the weirdest version of Jerky you could find. I'm from here, and I've never even heard of it.😂 For your first try, get the peppered or salted or both. You can even find plain, but you gotta like meat to like the plain.
Buc-ees is a chain. There are a lot of them spread out across several states along the interstates
This brand is in the south and mostly in Texas. We don't have anything this big in the northeast
Crazy thing is. It’s that big and it’s only set up to accommodate passenger cars. No semi trucks
44 stations in 5 states, 34 in Texas 120 gas pumps and store is 68,000 sq feet
We don’t have any gas stations like this in Michigan. Some of our big super markets have small gas stations that they own that are just pumps near the store building. Costco for example but also Kroger in the midwest.
This seems to be a gas station that has a ton of ots own branded items
Keep in mind you are watching videos of food that MOST Americans don't eat everyday! We are just fortunate enough that if we want it - we have it! What they didn't show inside is that there are clothes sold - wonderful local purchases - and of course MANY t-shirts with Buc-ee and local attractions! Again, it's amazing!
So Jolly here didn't quite cover some of the better things at Buc-ee's (mind you I haven't been to one in like 25 years or so) but they sell actual Texas BBQ brisket inside that's made most of the day fresh (yes, smoked for around 12 hours) and for a gas station/petrol station it's (usually) incredibly good brisket for what it is. It's not Terry Black's level, but it's damn good. They also sell all sorts of other hot foods, tons of them in fact that Jolly didn't show or hint at. The beef jerky, there's like 20 or more flavors, most of them are tasty but some (like the cherry maple they had) are just over powering or "bland". They didn't even show the drinks section, there's literally, oh I don't know, 75 feet long or more of refrigerator units of just drinks etc. Oh and then they have all the cold foods, bagged snacks and, it's kind of overwhelming lol
Buckees started in Texas. They are expanding rapidly, especially in Florida. We have 3 now. The DOT )Department of Transportation) actually added an exit on Interstate 95 complete with an overpass to handle the increased traffic!
I was just at Buc-ee's in Kentucky and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee! It's amazing -- amazing! Great food - cleanest restrooms in the world - they have attendant's at a gas station! They will take over America! People are amazingly nice that work there! They are an amazing employer I've heard! NO SEMI TRACTOR/TRAILERS ALLOWED! It is NOT a truck stop! You need to watch more JOLLY! Olley is a hoot! He jokes alot and has had me in tears laughing! By the way - the Buc-ee nuggets - are delish! You can't stop with just one! LOL
Fudge is not a cake--it is a candy.
Savory jerky like pepper jerky is better than cherry jerky
If you're ever in Texas, you have got to hit a Buc-ee's. They are all over in Texas. I live in Boerne, Texas and there are at least 3 locations within an hour, hour and a half, which by the way, is close to me. My husband used to work in New Braunfels, TX when living in San Antonio and it was 52 miles (83.6 km) one-way. I currently work remote but the office is 29 miles (46.7 km) away. I stop at Buc-ee's anytime we go by one. My son lives in Alabama and when visiting Texas, he'll stop at the first Buc-ee's before stopping at any of the family's homes. I so hope you can visit Texas one day. If you do, hit Lockhart, Texas which has the best BBQ places within a short distance of each other. By the way, there's a Buc-ee's on the way to Lockhart, TX if you're on Hwy 130 toll road. HA!
The bbq brisket is possibly the best I've had in my life. There are billboards on the way there saying "It's all about the beef". Yes. It certainly is
Exhibit A: The wall of jerky
It also has clothes, toys, and home goods. While traveling, it’s a must to add another hour to your trip for a stop at Buc-ees.
I think Buc ees is a Texas chain. We have a similar chain in the Midwest called Casey's. They aren't as huge a Buc ees, but their store is still phenomenal. They have similar snacks, but what makes Casey's a special place is the pizzeria in each store. You can buy whole pizzas made your way or premade by the slice! Their garlic cheesy bread is delicious! 😊
Omg I love their pizzas. Taco and their newer brisket. I have to get my youngest son a rasberry flip in the mornings when he's here
@mirandaroney3751 I think Casey's pizza is better than most of the pizzerias in my area. And I live near Chicago, so there's plenty of competition!
Buc-Ees has excruciatingly clean (and vast) restrooms, but also extensive showers and facilities for long-haul truckers. Texas is kinda big, ya know? Regular folks can stop for a bite and a break, which we might need if we're drivin' 400 miles (not too bad) but truckers go a lot further than that, so they can stop to eat, bathe, sleep, get really refreshed.
pecan pie is CALORIE DENSE .... its seriously filling...a meal unto itself!!
BEST with a melting scoop of vanilla icecream ( + a pat of CARMELIZED butter)
That is not a kalache but it is a Klobasnek. I make both from scratch.
We are getting a buccees near ys in Virginia yes! Supposed to have 120 gas pumps and 17,000 square foot store
There is a Buccees near my home, open 24/7 with the longest carwash in the US. The guys missed all the pretty gifts and home items in the store. We love our local Buccees in Katy, Texas!
Omg, Buc-ee's! We plan our road trips in Texas around Buc-ee's, not only for gas and bathroom breaks, but for all the regional goodies, jerky, and barbecue sammiches. ❤❤❤
If you want to try and make some similar style jerky over in the UK, I think you can use the Alton Brown method of drying it with air/furnace filters and a box fan if you don't want to get a dehydrator or crack the oven for hours on end.
Buc'ees are all over Texas, and a couple other states near us. They are not all as big, but they are all like this
Growing up, our neighbor across the street would make his own jerky from animals he would hunt. He would make the standard beef jerky, but he also made venison, quail and turkey jerky. That turkey jerky is still the best snack I think I've ever had in my life. And because us kids liked it so much, he would give it to us for nothing, even though he would sell bags of it for 20 bucks. This was 20 years ago mind you and people still paid him that much because of how good it was.
Beef jerky is good. I know several men that make their own jerky with their smoker grills at home. It's quite a process and it's delicious. They make beef, deer meat, and pork. Any kind of meat really. Everyone has their favorite recipe and seasonings. It takes hours to make. Much better than store bought jerky, which is pretty good. It's suppose to be chewy.
I carry a bag of jerky in my backpack all the times. Bucees does have good jerky. There's a Bucees about 10 miles from my house. Also, best part of Bucees is their restrooms are clean, really really clean. They pride themselves on that too.
Brag! The largest Buc-ees in the World is opening 12.8 miles from my house this Fall on Hwy 25, Northern Colorado (Johnstown). This is before the Loveland exit to Rocky Mountain National Park and exit to Fort Collins (craft beer Mecca).
Can’t wait!
I remember when Buc-ee's was a small station blocks away from my house growing up. Only a few locations around town at the time.
I’m in east Alabama USA. They opened one about an hour from me. It was crazy, the gas pumps, the size of the store, the amount of people in the store and THE CHIPPED BRISKET SANDWICH!
We went to Texas this summer and it’s the same craziness. We went to Kentucky last month, the same.
Approx 130 pumps and they are only showing you a small portion of the store.. theres clothing and all sorts of stuff there
There's several bucees
That’s the best place to stop during a road trip. The food choices are great.... you can get delicious BBQ, junk food, desserts and healthy food! There is something for everyone.
My favorite part is shopping for merchandise..... they have so much.... clothes, toys, things for the kitchen, so many choices. My favorite things are the locally made items.
My family was visiting and we took them to the local Buc-ees. My brother in law was really doubtful that it would be any good.
They were amazed by the quality of the food, especially the BBQ sandwiches, breakfast tacos and pastries.
When they left they ran by Buc-ees and spent close to $100 on snacks to take home. 😂
It always baffled me when some people from some countries, accuse of America having the worst food, but it's the Opposite, food in america is in a whole next level, if you go to the right places of course, you will find everything without regreting
@@uhm175 Yep, I've tried food from other cultures in the US that I wouldn't normaly have had the chance to try. America is a melting pot of food as well as people.
I love the BBQ sandwiches. We always stop on our way to Dallas to get one.
I live in Texas and from the amount of pumps i see in the back ground, i think you're at one of the smaller Buc-ee's lol They're are some with rows and rows and rows of gas pumps .
I live in Florida and if you are walking around with a grumpy/mad/sad face someone will definitely ask you if you whats wrong.
Chicken and waffles sounds crazy but it is sooooo good.
Same With biscuits and gravy
These like other stations this big were originally truck stops off the highway. For truckers making long hauls. They also have showers and motel most times.
Elk, Venison, Reindeer jerky are also excellent. Pecans (peeCAN btw) are native to Texas and Northern Mexico. They have been transplanted to other states as well.
Actually, a lot of people also pronounce Pecan as Puh-CON. Depends on where you live in the States.
@@dgroppelDefinitely say it puh khan in Louisiana. Pee can sounds like something you urinate into.
Most of them are around this size, they do have some that are normal Petro station sized. We have two near me in San Antonio, which were (and will be again) the largest, the one on interstate 10 and the one in New Braunfels. Bucees is a destination on its own, great place!
This is the You Tube mashup I didn’t know I needed! Jolly & Lewg
Dude, you are so damn funny. So glad I came across your channel. 😂
Buc-ees is definitely an experience. They are all throughout the state here in Texas. We love our Buc-ees!!!!
No, Buc-ee's is not a "one off.."
While founded in Texas (and with most of their locations in the state), they have spread to a number of other states in the Southern United States including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and South Carolina....with 57 current locations. Not all are quite as bid as the location shown....but none of them are particularly small, and combine large gas stations with fast-food and packaged food take-aways inside.
Buc-EE's is much more than a gas station, it's a shopping adventure. You can pay for your gas at the pump, you don't need to go in to pay. However, no one would go to Buc-EE's just for gas. The amount of food, treats, and merchandise inside is incredible. Plan to spend at least an hour inside.
Folks have no idea how large Texas is. Buckees is not all over Texas, it’s a treat for us as well. We have to drive hours to get to one. No one eats all of that in one sitting but Brits visiting America. LOL! I’ve been to Buckees twice in my 66 years.
7:26 that realization has me dying over here 😂
Only in the American south can a gas station be a tourist attraction! Their restrooms have attendants that actually direct customers to open toilet stalls. Advertisement stated "Now Hiring Restroom Attendants $18.00 hour". Who would have ever thought?
Almost all Buccee's are in Texas. I think there are just 2 outside of Texas. The best thing about them is that the bathrooms are ALWAYS clean
If you get to Iowa please take a look at the "World's Biggest Truck Stop", the I-80 Truck Stop in Walcott, IA
They are at the Bucees in New Braunfels,Texas which is the largest gas station in the world!! They have over 200 gas pumps...
Buc-eye’s has really good food, (surprisingly). The BBQ is really good. They are super clean and and a nice place for travel stop.
We have one in South Carolina. This gas chain has everything. Clothes, outdoor grills, house decor items, candles, shoes/sandals (bc in the South we wear flip flops year round) the food has serving stations. That was homemade fudge not cake in the box. It’s a good inch thick. They have brisket, ribs, jerky, salads, croissants sandwiches or burrito wraps. The store is always extremely clean. They are particular on their hiring. The attendees greet you with a “welcome to Buc-ee’s”
I’ve never been to Buc ees, but it seems pretty similar to Wawa or sheets-2 other gas station chains in America. Wawa has the best coffee but both of them are gas stations where you can also order fresh made hot food to go and their restrooms are usually pretty clean
No trucks allowed at Bucee’s! They started in Texas, but are speeding east & North. Only off US Interstate Highways.
There are Buc-ees all over the southern US. There may be all over the country but I don’t know that to be a fact. The food was fantastic and it also had the cleanest public restroom I’ve ever been in.
The best thing to get is the brisket breakfast stuff! My fave is the brisket, egg, and cheese burrito. So good!
"Is this a one-off or are there loads of these in America"
Buc-ee's is actually a pretty wide-spread chain ... however, they tend to be located in more rural areas off the interstate (focusing on travelers) and are mostly in the South (which means "The Southeast"). I went to one in the Florida panhandle close to the 'Bama border, and it was great. The pastries are really good, too!
Another largest travel plaza is the world's largest truck stop, which is in Iowa (called Iowa 80). Video suggestion: "24 Hours at the World's Largest Truck Stop" on the Kara and Nate channel. Very respectful of truckers - we appreciate them so much.
And no, the cherry maple jerky is not great, but they have other AMAZING flavors. I go to Buc'ees at least once a month. I have friends in other states I send care packages of Buc'ee's food to. lol
A lot of the bigger type gas stations that have a huge selection of different things, are usually close to main interstate highways
They should visit a Petro Travel Center and eat at the Iron Skillet restaurant inside.
There's 58 locations, mostly in Texas, but there are now stores in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky and Florida.
They built one of these an hour away in Robertsdale Alabama and my sister drives to just to go shop for stuff about once a month. I personally would not like the Cherry jerky but those pralines are awesome. So for those that dont know its like a large truck stop except trucks (18 Wheelers) are actually banned from them.
The largest gas station in the world is the Iowa 80. When I was there many years ago the even had a dentist and an embroidery shop
Truck stops are always big but this is biggest truck stop we have in usa. Truck stops were made for ppl who are travelling. Beef jerkey is awesome we make it out of deer as well dehydrated meat thats marinaded . Bucees are mainly in southern states.
I'm 2 & 1/2 months away from going to Texas. Now I have been to Buckee's in Kentucky & Tennessee but both times was in the morning & didn't get to try the BBQ Brisket at Buckee's as it wasn't ready yet...
but the maple 🍁 cherry 🍒 jerky is really that good. I'm definitely going to buy that again.
I was just there! It’s a great place. Cheap gas, clean bathrooms, and all the southern gear you could want.
Bucee's was started in Texas. The largest one i believe is also in Texas, but there are a lot of smaller ones, but even the smaller ones tend to be bigger than the normal neighborhood convenience store. I'd say about half of them are close to grocery store size.
These gas stations are all over Texas. They're located right off the freeway. They started out as a place for truckers to to get hot food, showers, etc. Then grew to what they are now.
The best beef jerkey I have ever had is from a small place in salado, TX called Robertson’s beef jerkey. The mesquite smoked pepper jerkey which is the flat original is the best.
Buccees are a Texas gas station chain. So you’ll find them all over Texas on the highways. But they are expanding, and opened one in Tennessee I think. They’re definitely with a visit.
I’m a Texan but I’m in Corpus Christi and even I can’t wait to get here as much as possible. I have to drive at least 2 hours to reach one but I will stock up on all of my favorites. It’s a trade for me..on the ocean or Buc~ees.
We really need one closer tho
This isn't exactly a "one-off", but it's not common either. It's extremely rare to see these. Looking into it, there are 48 of these Buc-ee's stations, but they are ONLY in a total of 7 states. 37 of them, are in JUST Texas alone. Most gas stations here are like a small convenience store no bigger than a small sized apartment, with just travel foods like bagged things like chips (crisps, whatever), candy, and other such things, as well as drinks by the can/bottle. Some have a hot food station for when you're on a break from a long drive, or something. But they have maybe 4 to 6 pumps for getting gass. And then some stores like safeway, fred meyer/kroger, and walmart, have their own gas station connected to the location of the store, with about 10 or so pumps, and no little store for them, since they are connected to the actual larger store.
Also, near the end there, that's not cake. Those are 6 pieces of STRAIGHT FUDGE. Cake is a soft fluffy dough like thing. These are SOLID FUDGE the entire way down. There is no dough or cake stuff in them at all.
Homie said praline “PRAH-leen.” 😂 (folks in Texas say “pray-leen.”)
Also, they don't cover this but the major selling point of Buc-ee's is actually their restrooms. They're super clean and there's so many of them available. So they sell cheap gas and have good restrooms. But where any gas station makes money in the US is by selling stuff inside the store.
Their restrooms are the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a gas station. I love Buc-ee’s.
Exactly!! They are known for their clean bathrooms! They have bathroom attendants that are constantly keeping it clean.
Their billboards say they are the #1 place for #2!
Do they have showers 🚿 there too ? We have big one Wisconsin call T&A 😅 stands for TransAmercia ( supposedly) 😉
@Kim-J312 No. Buc-ee's is not a truck stop, and indeed, with the exception of their own stock delivery trucks, no 18-wheelers are allowed on property. So, no showers. TA truck stops, though large, do not have the quantity of pumps or the variety of goods offered at Buc-ee's.
