I own TATA PUNCH EMPOWERED PLUS LR.. I am driving this from last 20 days.. am getting range between 320 to 340 in city mode.. with frequent AC usage.. I have no issues with the range
i have nexon ev with claimed 320km range, but i can get around 250-260km on average. so definitely i think punch ev LR can give 300km+ range easily. you need to drive it with love, but if you drive like a racing driver then surely the range will be lower.
I own Tata punch Epowered plus LR too, and have tested it's range on highway to about 315KM, before range testing you guys should learn how to drive ev car.
Exactly my point. Ev doesn't deplete that easily at high speed, I depletes fast in Frequent acceleration. But for one thing I watch Car wale, yeh log jo bhi range test millage test karte hain, usse to mujhe better hi milega for sure. 🤣🤣
Objective of this video is purely related to range test but they do not focus on this rest everything they describe if they want to make about car review they can make it separately
Tata EV cars in India are doing very well and are equally good as french EV cars or even better ! But Tata and Mahindra indian brands are not available in Europe yet. It would be great if Tesla Bjørn could get a chance to hammer them in India ? I am sure Indian EV companies would love to host you in India for your reviews on their cars.
Tata electronics have lots of glitches. Its not smooth. I avoid Ice Tata cars any days. But with ev if electronics do not work effectively thats bad too
@@nitsnikI don't mind driving this speed. There is no vibration except for some tire noise due to okayish build quality. So not a tired as ICE cars that has vibration in this price point.. I mostly travel from Chennai to Tirupati that is 155 km . I have completed round trip with one single charge in 6 hrs 50 mins. Ie. 310km with 6 percent charge left.
One more thing is .I spent 6 hrs 15 min for same trip at 80-85kph in petrol car . Also our roads have speed limit of 80kph most highwaysm except for some express ways. So 65-70 kph might be slow if no one follows the speed limit. Don't mind spending extra 30 mins. Its pleasure to drive . People don't even know that I'm driving at 70kph.
Remember, people.... The real world mileage will almost always be two-thirds of the 'claimed' range, which is more of a marketing excercise than a real-world determined data. So if the claimed range is 300 km, expect around 200 at best and 150 at worst.
Dear friends don't buy Tata cars. 😢😢😢😢😢Very worst service. In case if you have any problem with the car. They will take time more than 4 months. I have faced the problem. So i am informing you. Before purchasing car think properly.

Guys I am confused with Nexon ev creative MR or empowered plus LR both on road price around 15L.. which one is better

how exactly should it be driven? less breaking? less fluctuations in speed? lower speeds?

Good video. Love the intro and the way host has explained everything.
I am ev punch my experience got only 225 km range per charge

260 km with 35kw battery? Whoever was driving, is an extremely rushy driver. Tigor Ev with 26kw givs more that 210 easy.
Good review. I booked punch ev empower s varient 🎉
Cng is best

Range test has to be at the best setting eco n most regen the car car manage or else what's the point of this video....
1 ltr petrol price - 96 rs
1 unit electricity cost- rs 5-10
1 ltr petrol = 1 unit electricity = similar range lol 😆
Only 61% of claim.😂.May be you tested on SR mistakenly
60% real milage that's a huge drawback...
It's actually similar to any petrol car. Claimed range will be 20 but in actual it gives you 9-10-11-12 in city and 14-15-16 in highway.
Using Punch ev Empowered LR.
Getting 320-330km range at 60-70kph in highways
@@premkuamr6343 that's a good mileage but it would be hard to drive at 60-70 KPH on highways. 70-80 KPH is the minimum you will drive at or 80-90-100.

Tata should stop using ARAI or MIDC. It's highly exaggerated. There's other standards that are more realistic and achievable in real life as well.
clearly you have not driven an ev. I have driven ev for 2 years now and i get 78% of claimed range on average, sometimes even more.

What car you own?
Range is pathetic
