Hey I’ve always wondered in a “what if” question. Here’s mine. 1: what if aunt Nora came home early, when Alan and Sarah explains about Jumanji and she decides to help?” 2: What if Carl help Alan after the Sir Save-A-Lot and helps finishes the game? I think a cop with a gun would come in handy especially with the monsoon and spiders.
When they get washed down the stairs, and drop the game, instead of Alan yelling for Peter to grab the game like before, he immediately asks if Peter is ok. There is so much character development in this movie.
@Johnfuse Doesn't hit like a car? I'm pretty sure they're crocodiles. Jumanji is based off of Africa which crocodiles are native to. Alligators on the other hand are native to North America.
Rose 16 They are crocodiles. They have pointy snouts, and their bottom teeth stick out. Plus, Alan outright says they're crocodiles at the end of the movie.
Yeah you're right there are two species of Alligators worldwide, One in North America and one in China. There are also the caimans from Central and South America and the gharials from Asia. But of all the members of the crocodilian family,(The reptile group that crocodiles, alligators, caimans and gharials belong to)crocodiles are the only members of this family to be found somewhere on every continent, except Europe and Antarctica.
While it’s true that Jumanji is mostly based off of Africa, based on the size and build of the creatures in question, I believe those were actually saltwater crocodiles, which are native to Southeast Asia and North Australia.
