    What’s the movie about?
    In 1995, Judy (Kirsten Dunst) and Peter Shepherd (Bradley Pierce) are two orphan kids living with their aunt Nora. After moving into a vacant mansion, they find a board game in the attic, called Jumanji. After beginning playing, they realize it’s a supernatural game and then unwittingly release an adult trapped in the game, Alan Parrish (Robin Williams).

      I think the big difference is that crocodiles have their teeth exposed whereas alligators don’t.

      @@andarara-c1p it was about kicking the door down. Or at least trying until it busted open the other way. The gun being pulled from the holster is what any cop does before breaking down a door. At least in movies haha.

    When they get washed down the stairs, and drop the game, instead of Alan yelling for Peter to grab the game like before, he immediately asks if Peter is ok. There is so much character development in this movie.

    Hey I’ve always wondered in a “what if” question. Here’s mine.
    1: what if aunt Nora came home early, when Alan and Sarah explains about Jumanji and she decides to help?”
    2: What if Carl help Alan after the Sir Save-A-Lot and helps finishes the game? I think a cop with a gun would come in handy especially with the monsoon and spiders.

That's gotta be at least 10,000 gallons of water flooding that house trying to escape, and the front doors themselves were bursting at the seem just before the rupture. Assuming a weight of 8.33lbs. per gallon of water you've got a potential 83,300 pounds of pressure rupture travelling at a speed of roughly 35 miles an hour and that can't take life especially if that pressure hits something square at you?

    I'm pretty sure they're crocodiles. Jumanji is based off of Africa which crocodiles are native to. Alligators on the other hand are native to North America.

      Yeah you're right there are two species of Alligators worldwide, One in North America and one in China. There are also the caimans from Central and South America and the gharials from Asia. But of all the members of the crocodilian family,(The reptile group that crocodiles, alligators, caimans and gharials belong to)crocodiles are the only members of this family to be found somewhere on every continent, except Europe and Antarctica.

      While it’s true that Jumanji is mostly based off of Africa, based on the size and build of the creatures in question, I believe those were actually saltwater crocodiles, which are native to Southeast Asia and North Australia. Besides, if my memory is correct, the official board game also features tigers and piranhas.

    I kind of felt that it would've been a cool alternate ending if they adopted them. If they weren't able to return back to their time but I was also really happy with the current ending.

    Never assume magic understands the laws of reality and the real world. Magic has it's own laws that only it listens to.

    Misleading title because they are crocodiles not alligators... they're both still awesome either way.
    And there was more than one. There were two.
    The characters are just happy that they didn't actually get bitten by the crocodiles. Their bite closes with 3,700 psi and that is enough to bite through steel, a lot more powerful than bone.
    On top of it all, those crocs looked huge. They had to be at least 20 feet long, maybe bigger. And also Alan, there are more differences between crocodiles and alligators. A lot more.
