I love how the crowd reacted to how clean her pirouettes were ❤. Thought the E score should have been higher but the placement was right. I hope she is able to upgrade next year and contend for gold
I'm not an expert by any means, but I actually thought most if not all of her pirouettes were pretty clunky, not as smooth and precise as the Chinese gymnast that won.
absolutely amazing pirouettes... it's unfortunate that she missed the combination from the pak salto to van leeuwen, but i'm so happy that she medaled here!!!
What I got: SJ bars score: Stalder 1/1 (D) (leg separation: -0.1) + Chow (D) (bent knees at end of swing: -0.1) + Tkachev (D) (flexed feet: -0.1, amplitude: -0.1), 0.2 CV Toe-on 1/1 (D) (arch: -0.1, angle: -0.1) + Downie (F) + Pak (D) (arch: -0.1, amplitude: -0.1), 0.4 CV VL (E) (bent knees: -0.1, leg separation: -0.1) Toe-on 1/2 (C) (angle: -0.1, arch: -0.1) Double front tuck dismount (D) (flexed feet: -0.1, leg separation during flight: -0.1, feet apart on landing: -0.1, step: -0.1), 0.2 DMB E: 8.400 D: 6.3 For Qiu Qiyuan, I got the following. QQY bars score: Healy (E) (angle: -0.1) + Ling (E) (angle: -0.1) + Layout Jaeger (F) (bent arms: -0.3, flexed feet: -0.1), 0.3 CV In bar 1/1 (E) (angle: -0.3) + Downie (F) (bent arms: -0.3, amplitude: -0.1), 0.2 CV Pak (D) (arch: -0.1) VL (E) (leg separation: -0.1) FTDT (D) (2 steps on landing: 0.2), 0.2 DMB E: 8.300 D: 6.7 I’ll add that even though I judged in real time, I’ve seen both routines multiple times, so I was probably harsher than the judges were. Untimely though, I think that an 8.400-8.500 was fair for Shi, especially since I considered deducting 0.2 more tenths for her (0.1 for angle on the Stalder 1/1 and 0.1 for feet on the Downie) and 0.1 more for Qiyuan for amplitude on her layout Jaeger. Bear in mind that that likely would mean that every other competitor would’ve scored even lower. Also, I think that Shi benefited from the judging angle on her dismount here before from other views, I would’ve given her a 0.3 deduction on leg separation during flight alone. Edit: Just did Nemour and gave her an 8.100 E. KN bars score: KCH (A) (angle: -0.1) Nemour (G) (flexed feet: -0.1, pike: -0.1, bent knees: -0.1) KCH (A) (angle: -0.1) Pak (D) + Maloney (D) (bent knees on back swing: -0.1) + Stalder 1/1 (D) (leg separation: -0.1, angle: -0.3) + Ricna to mixed grip (flexed feet: -0.1, amplitude: -0.1) + Ezhova (D) (leg separation: -0.1) + VL (E) (bent knees: -0.1), 0.5 CV In bar 1/1 (E) (flexed feet: -0.1, angle -0.3) + DLO dismount (D) (shape: -0.1) 0.1 CV, 0.2 DMB E: 8.100 D: 6.7 So, there was definitely not enough differentiation between E scores here, but I still agree with the medal placements, though I can still see an argument for giving Shilese the silver and Kaylia the bronze. Kaylia definitely has more form faults, but her routine is the most efficient, has the fewest handstands, and her rhythm and amplitude are the best.
She really hit ALL her handstands. So extraordinary, I love it!
She is having such an amazing worlds!! Team gold, AA bronze and now bars bronze!
She has a team gold, AA silver and bars silver last year too!
One of my favorite gymnasts of this quad
That stalder full is so pretty omg she literally does the entire thing on top of the bar
She really stepped up her form and flow, doing the best I've seen from her yet!
I love how the crowd reacted to how clean her pirouettes were ❤. Thought the E score should have been higher but the placement was right. I hope she is able to upgrade next year and contend for gold
Shilese 2024 Olympic Bars Champion is one of the biggest items on my Paris wishlist.
I'm not an expert by any means, but I actually thought most if not all of her pirouettes were pretty clunky, not as smooth and precise as the Chinese gymnast that won.
@@senorgato70 yeah no you’re definitely not an expert and your comment highlights that perfectly
@@senorgato70gymnasts are supposed to hit pirouettes right on top of the bar. Shi has some of the best uneven bars pirouettes currently
Best bar routine I've seen from her. Favorite gymnast! 💚

Congratulations SHILESE!! Soo happy for this young lady who has been through so much!
those handstands girl!!
so reminiscent of aliya.... showing off full pirouettes during EFs lol
Love her natural looking swing. So fluid 😍😍
Beautiful bar worker!!!!
She should have had a higher e score how was it only 8.466
First and second handstand, the pirourette, the dismount and so on were all deductions
@@sollte1239 first handstand a tenth sure, but there is no way they took anything off on that second handstand that was picture perfect
Because uneven bars judges take 1 point off just for competing bars it seems.
Shi can flyy i know thats right!
Beautiful 💕😍❤️
Best handstands on the night!!!!E score should have been higher
She had the highest E score in event finals.
@@Hervinbalfour i kno. But i hate this era of such low e scores for great routines…
@@dayvaughnmonroe9540 oh I agree. I feel Shi was underscored the whole World's championships.

Wow great routine! Best toe on 1/1 ever from her, and stuck dismount!
A Consistent Queen. Her, Simone and Rebecca 💃🏽
Her double front with half turn probably would have placed her higher
She wouldn't have stuck the landing tho so that's negligible
Clutch and classy
how in the hell is her execution score higher than qiyuan?
It was clearly better. In amplitude alone it was far better. Also her handstands were better. If anything she was underscored.
her handstands are not better.. you're absolutely wrong there@@lenr112
@@briancockerham4731 actually her handstands are much better. Pick up the code of points before uttering your ignorant nonsense
