Koh Lipe Walking Street

The small island of Koh Lipe is located in the deep south of Thailand, in the Tarutao National Park, in the Satun Province. Due to numerous sparkling white beaches, turquoise waters, colorful coral reefs and pretty rock formations, Koh Lipe and its uninhabited neighboring islands are also known as the Maldives of Thailand. From us it takes 2 hours to reach it by car and then another 90 minutes by speedboat. But the days when you could live cheaply are over, today it is an expensive but still beautiful island.
Die kleine Insel Koh Lipe liegt im tiefen Süden Thailands, im Tarutao Nationalpark, in der Provinz Satun. Aufgrund zahlreicher strahlend weißer Strände, türkisem Wasser, bunten Korallenriffen und hübschen Steinformationen werden Koh Lipe und seine unbewohnten Nachbarinseln auch als die Malediven Thailands bezeichnet. Von uns ist sie 2 Stunden mit dem Auto und dann noch 90 Minuten mit dem Speedboot zu erreichen. Aber die Zeiten sind vorbei wo man günstig wohnen konnte, heute ist es eine teure aber weitherhin schöne Insel.
