- Here is my third block in our Slow stitch collaboration organised by Susanna from Vintage Blend Sutdio. I will show a little of my process but not all as I worked on it a lot at night.
This block was due during the month of December and was to be sent to my sister Sarah at Roxy Creations by Sarah. It's a super fun collaboration we hope you enjoy it!

I’m just wanting to start slow stitching…have been doing jj for quite some time…have done embroidery long ago…have recently come into some lovely vintage fabrics…have found you and become very excited about doing this type of craft! These methods are new to me with a clothes sewing and quilting history I am used to all edges being finished so that is the most curious change for me. Love the creative potential!! Tysm! Do you have a method for sorting and storing your fabrics? Thank you again…moving house but can’t wait to get settled and unpack my crafting supplies (hopefully in a thoughtful way) and get to work! Yay! Appreciate any comments, directions that anyone can point me to, etc. etc. 💕💕Donna C💕

Your sister is going to love that. It must have taken quite a bit of time to complete. That flower basket is stunning and makes me want to try more embroidery work. The blues, pinks, creams and purples go so well together. Another amazing Rachel original.

If you want to get that paper off the material, use a steam cloth on the reverse side and using your iron apply heat to the wet cloth and hold it there for a few seconds. the Steam will loosen the glue and it should be easier to remove. Update...after watching your whole video...I see you got the paper off...LOL Merry Christmas and Happy Healthy New year.

I didn't draw the flowers in detail just a few lines. I created them with my stitches.

As I’m watching you stitching I am working on a journal for my best friend using your English Garden digital. The beautiful piece your sending to your sister reminds of a wonderful garden. The pouches you make are always the icing on the cake.

Anytime you pick up a needle and thread .... any crafting/arting tool...I'm had and very done!!!! Ho! Ho! Ho! TFS!! Love your vids and could watch them all day, night!! The stitching always takes me back to my great grands and grands!!! Thank you!! 🌻💕X

I love this pouch video.
The sample books that I was given had paper at the top and bottom to stabilize them. I soaked them and used a bread knife to scrape the paper and glue off of them. It was a tedious job, but I was happy that I did it when I used the pieces. I just now had an idea for you with that small amount of glued paper. You could use a spray bottle to wet it then scrape it off with the bread knife
