Unless u are into particular things n use your cell phone for those things then none of the things mentioned in this video is a deal breaker. At the end of the day this phone does all of the standard things u need and should expect from a cellphone. It's hands down one of the best budget phones out right now especially if u like big phones.
Mine does whatever it wants. My hotspot runs itself stopping whenever and dropping at any time. Calls are rarely ever received and dropped all the time and I have a random alien voice on my g-maps. They are switching it out Friday and I hope it works better.
LOL I guess that is why I got the phone, it is basic but not plain. While in the 90’s I was a phone buff, today I am not as tech savvy so all the stuff mentioned I either have no idea, or it doesn’t apply etc. which really means this is definitely the phone for me. Thank you for the video and will be watching your other videos in this phone to see all what I can do with it.
15w charging and not 18w charging like the previous model and the OnePlus N200. I went with the N200 because of its great display. It's a smaller screen, but much better quality. The Revvl isn't a bad phone though.
This phone is absolutely trash. It hangs up on people so much. You cannot make a phone call you have to put your phone and airplane mode take it out then make a phone call and hope it don't hang up on you. I went to Metro today to get a new phone and he asked me was I having those issues so a lot of people is having the same issue with this raggedy phone. This phone will be for a elementary school kid who like to watch videos that's it this phone is horrible
I had this phone for less than 2 years and it started to randomly shut off, first it was not much then it started to do it again and again and again, then to the point that where it can’t even get into Android, and now it stuck in a boot loop.
I have a revvl v plus 5 g an after awhile the back panel that covers the battery does peel away from the phone. I took some super glue an glued the back panel back on the phone.
Kevin thank you for the update but I really need to ask you have you tried the wireless charging on that phone I heard that it does not work I need to make sure because if it does does not work it's a deal breaker and I just want to watch movies and stuff like that the easy stuff but I like the wireless charging
This is a crap phone. the Revvl 5 and Revvl 6 were replacement phones for the original phone I bought from Metro PCS, that broke the first month by toppling over in my car dashboard. Besides the extra long set up for each time you change your service to a new phone, this Revvl 6 phone worked about a week before it began turning on and off on its own. It refuses to stay on, refuses to stay off. A big useless POS. The phone they sent to me before this phone, the Revvl 5, never kept a charge. The Metro PCS insurance company will only replace the original phone I bought with this POS. I will be purchasing an iPhone shortly, from a different company.
I ended up with another Revvl 6 from the insurance company. Other than the screen on/off switch, the phone works ok. Took a while to figure out how to stop phone from calling & texting people on its own accord. The agreement says replacements are refurbished.
I think you made a mistake. I have that same phone but it has 128gb of storage and 6gb of ram with a 2 tb capable mini slot. Either you don't have the pro model or you don't know what your talking about
I desperately need help! My USB charger keeps detecting moisture in the USB. I literally can't find how to clear USB cache. It doesn't exist in the apps. And holding the start and volume up button only brings up reset options. I can't find out how to specifically clean USB cache
It is garbage. I own one and I hate it. It calls people without me involved. It won't even have the call screen up so I have no control at all. I exit all apps and it keeps calling.
I've had one for about 5 months. Makes phone calls, it sends text messages, I can check my emails, browse the internet, scroll through TH-cam, play all my music, and take photos. For $40 it works great for me.
My sister bought this phone and it's been a headache ever since she got it the apps crash alot a message pops up saying app keeps stopping no matter what app it's on my sister depends on Google maps for work but after driving a block the phone crashes we exchanged the phone twice and kept having the same problem my old samsung s10e Samsung s20fe and s21 worked way better than this piece of crap the funny thing is my samsung phones were cheaper
Going from a Samsung and utilizing this as a get by phone through the holidays, for the last month it's been an out of this world miserable experience! The mic pickup on this thing is so bad that I have to talk like I'm speaking to a slow individual, loud and painfully articulate, just so the microphone picks words up properly, it double clicks letters constantly, not to mention the restart process on the phone, it's got to take at least a whole 2 minutes to reboot. All the weird proprietary Google / T-Mobile junk... It ruins the entire experience. Not to mention the fact that it's missing some basic functions like the ability to simply edit your photos and not have them controlled by Google. What a steaming piece of crap.
I am interested in your being the first person to mention the hyper-sensitive keyboard (double-clicking?) i have been having this extreme hyper-sensitivity problem with two V+5G phones and I wondered if this was a basic design problem or a REVVL problem or a problem with individual phones. No one seems to know but it plays havoc with typing and usability and turns out to be a real deal-breaker! (There is no keyboard sensitivity adjustment and changing the HAPTIC settings doesn't address this problem) I also went from a Samsung to the REVVL, which makes this problem all the more obvious
Whoever decided that blocking should mean that the person you blocked can still call, leave voicemails, and send texts has obviously never had an abusive person in their lives they desperately need to distance themselves from. Blocking a number on the Revvl 6 Pro really just "silences" their calls, putting them on "do not disturb." I've tried everything, but my own personal narcissist can still harass me. I shouldn't have to go through the hell of changing my phone number. That's a couple of hundred people to notify. This reason is enough to hate the Revvl 6 Pro.
I hate this phone ..only a week had gone to store 2 time slow downloading apps and som apps I cant even send pics..made a video to show how slow when connecting .sadly this didn't help me either 😡🤬
I hate this phone. I have one. It is so incredibly bad. It just caused me to make this comment into a different kind. It calls people without the call screen up so i can't cancel the calls and i don't know who it's calling. It's failing all the time and it acts randomly and chaotically. It does what it wants like it's hacked. Maybe mine is i don't know but it sucks really bad.
This just tells me basically it with every single phone that's out there right now guys that they would have to go in upgrade all these cell phones they would have to upgrade everything last cell phone out there for us to find I mean for Pete's sakes we can't lousy cell phones from T-Mobile for crying out loud I thought T-Mobile come on we're all these new cell phones new cell phones that are state-of-the-art and there are working perfectly people working more harder on the cell phones for Pete's sakes he's cell phones are sucking ass like no tomorrow
Warming the charging port is trash run don't walk away from this phone I called both t-mobile and metro they said I could take it back to the store and swap it out I did go to the metro store they would not swap it out said it was up to the store not metro company or t mobile I was a 15 year customer and this was a deal breaker for me I pulled my service with them it took me 7 days to transfer my phone number out of metro by t-mobile I was a loyal customer for 15 years and they could not see fit to make this right aga I n run don't walk away from this phone factory defect

Just got this phone today, a good phone so far and fast too, a HYGE upgrade from what I had before, which was a blu view 2
areyou having trouble with it typing some letters don't press on this
What is the best wireless charger to use with this phone.
Mine does whatever it wants. My hotspot runs itself stopping whenever and dropping at any time. Calls are rarely ever received and dropped all the time and I have a random alien voice on my g-maps. They are switching it out Friday and I hope it works better.
You gotta go in depth on reviewing phones. Like go into the settings.

This phone is BIG TRASH post update. It fried my hotspot and other features. HATE IT
I got it because I had a free line so I needed a phone to get it activated. Not the best but it's pretty good.
it a good phone enough for my needs just needs higher refresh rate
I've watched 10 different videos on this phone and none of you have played a video or surfed the web with it. Why?
Mine keeps shutting off randomly now they ordered a new one should I get a different phone
I had this phone for less than 2 years and it started to randomly shut off, first it was not much then it started to do it again and again and again, then to the point that where it can’t even get into Android, and now it stuck in a boot loop.
Is it an upgrade compared to its predecessor The Rvvel 5 5g
How do you get the buttons at the bottom of the screen?
I have a revvl v plus 5 g an after awhile the back panel that covers the battery does peel away from the phone. I took some super glue an glued the back panel back on the phone.
I got mine yesterday I want to learn how to do Photoshop? And how to do it with this model?
Kevin thank you for the update but I really need to ask you have you tried the wireless charging on that phone I heard that it does not work I need to make sure because if it does does not work it's a deal breaker and I just want to watch movies and stuff like that the easy stuff but I like the wireless charging
My Revvl V+ 5g ran a geekbench score of 548 and 1687 so better than the 6 pro 5g ive had this phone for a year getting rid of it in couple days
I have this phone it is a pian in the ass
Bluetooth turns on all by itself
Battery sucks
Going back to Samsung battery runs better
Well I think I would get it.
I just hate how long it takes to charge
Bro fr what the hell
I love this phone. Better than Motorola stylus 2023 because im dealing with over heating i gotta replacement phone same thing going. On

I think an iPhone might be a bigger pain in the ass... Maybe just try to find a better Android phone.

@@zirconalian I owned an iphone in the past. No problems. Better videos.
@@biteynibbles8444 I get that. If you just want a phone that does what it needs to do, get the iPhone. I just like the freedom of Android.
I think you made a mistake. I have that same phone but it has 128gb of storage and 6gb of ram with a 2 tb capable mini slot. Either you don't have the pro model or you don't know what your talking about

My did the same thing, finally powered off, looking for a wireless charger now.
I have been with this phone for three days and the pro is excellent
Doesn't record in 4K but it does record in 2K
how is the notifications feature. my revvl 4 sucks
Looks like the note 10+ i still use is a better phone overall.
I got the REVVL 6 Pro today. Tomorrow I'm sending it back for a full refund. It's a piece of crap.
This phone might be the WORST purchased it to see how terrible it is,. And yea it's terrible lol
I don't like you can't change the color palette
Revvl6 5G is the most bug ridden unreliable phone i have ever used
128GB for $39.99 thru Metro. Performs all the basic functions I need, perfect for the price.
It is garbage. I own one and I hate it. It calls people without me involved. It won't even have the call screen up so I have no control at all. I exit all apps and it keeps calling.
Worst phone ever None of the features of other phones. Buying something else and cutting my losses 😢
I've had one for about 5 months. Makes phone calls, it sends text messages, I can check my emails, browse the internet, scroll through TH-cam, play all my music, and take photos. For $40 it works great for me.
Had two in last ninety days. Both defective
Why doesn't it allow one time passwords
Worst phone I've ever owned. Extremely glitchy

This review is SO off. I have 4k recording, phone doesn't drop calls and people I ask all say I sound great when using.
Revvl 5 had stereo speakers
lol
