That's why baroque music would pass the "street grading" test but 20th century or contemporary classical music not. I think most of people who would have been stopped on the street to grade this piece of music would give at least 7/10.
Well, even the Playford choreography was supposed to fit a totally different kind of music. Both Playford and Corrette may be great, but it's hard to see any added value in mixing them up.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday? Isn't great musicianship enough? Why cheapen it with supposedly cute video? Just play the music. Stop trying to be oh so creative otherwise. It doesn't work. Wet hand/dry hand works when dipping chicken pieces in egg and crumbs for frying. Wet floor/dry floor for dance is just plain silly. The more you try to be cute the farther you get from good art.
