that is true and while most people wouldnt be as effective or as good as him if they had the death note lets face it there are many countries where if you had the death note the governments would actively seek you out and protect you for their own benefit such as Russia, China, America, probabvly any African dictatorship, and most likely north korea as said governments would see you as a valuble assest and weapon and would see more value in keeping you and the death note together as opposed to seperating you and the death note and throwing you in jail
