I am going to be working here as a shuttle driver starting next month (April). I am nervous and excited. This is my 1st seasonal job. I live in NJ so driving there is over 2300 miles. Do you think I can survive without a car? If I don't bring my car then my option would be to rent vehicles on my days off if I want to visit the other national parks in the area. Any idea if I can work overtime in other departments? Great video, by the way.
@@chloel3085 Hi! My tentative start date is April 21st. I'm supposed to get my official orientation date sometime this week. I'm coming alone as well. Just do it! I'll be driving a shuttle bus/van so look out for me. Lol
Im gonna work here next summer and im wonder whats the age range because im 15 and still in schools and i want to do this for a summer job and i am very excited and also very nervous!
Hi!! Not sure about what the hiring age range is, but I there’s so many people a variety of ages and backgrounds 😅 when I was there, a lot of 18-late 20s!
@@TheJeniVlogShow thank you so much for ypur answer. One more quick question: i guess there is a turkish guy in the video. I am also turkish. Do you remember his full name? Maybe i can reach him on instagram or fb.
Hi! Loved the video! What would you describe the age range to be like at Lake Powell? I'm a recent high school grad and am wondering if there will be people there close to me in age
I worked at bullfrog marina! In Utah I had a job as a fuel dock attendant but when I got there they swiched me to houseboat cleaner at $5.40 hr. And they worked us 56 hours a week every week!!! I hated it when the scorpions and tarantulas started popping up everywhere!! EVERYWHERE! needless to say it took two paychecks to leave and that's what I did!! Aramark BANNED ME FOR LIFE(for not fulfilling the contract they roped me into after breaking the first one!??) FOR QUITING LIKE %40 of the staff did days before
Omg that sounds like an unbelievable awful experience and I don’t blame you for getting out!!! Geez!! I had some friends who were houseboat, cleaners, but they got paid really well! That’s too bad your experience wasn’t the same. I definitely prefer the Lake Powell near Page, AZ area… would never work in bullfrog or dangling rope.. too far from civilization LOL
This turned out really great!!!💕
Thank you 😀

Great video💯. One question, what was your average number of hours per week?
40.. but if you’re a boat cleaner it’ll most likely def be more. I had some friends who did that and they sometimes wouldn’t get off until 8 or 9pm

There’s quite a variety of ages! Anywhere from 18 to people in their 60s. When I worked there, there were def plenty of younger people working
did you end up going and were there lots of people around that age?
