  • Hello Guys!
In today's video, we visited Zadar, one of the best places to visit and a must-see in Croatia. Like many other Croatian towns, Zadar is full of History and on every corner, you can see ruins dating back to the Roman Empire. Zadar also has two brand new unique tourist attractions: The Sea Organ - Experimental musical instrument, which plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps. The second one is Greeting to the Sun - installation made out of 300 photo-sensitive glass plates that absorb daylight and transform into a wondrous light show at night. After Zadar, we are heading to Nin, the place where Croatia is Born. Nin is a very small beautiful town where Seven kings were crowned and have one of the best beaches in Croatia. Nin has also known as the home to the smallest cathedral in the world.
We hope you will enjoy this video and thank you for watching.
See you at our next destination🌍🌍

We loved Croatia, it's such a great holiday destination.
There's not much mention of Nin when you look at videos of Croatia, but it's a lovely place, definitely worth mentioning.

Birthplace of Croatia? Zadar, in terms of identity, has been roman, venetian and finally Italian for 2000 years. Tito even ordered her bombing in order to get rid of the Italian community during WWII.

We are talking about Nin as birthplace of Croatia not Zadar. 7 kings are crowned in Nin😀 So many will say that Nin is birthplace of Croatia 👍

Zadar has been croatian city for more than 1000 years, situated in the heart of the old Kingdom of Croatia, on the east coastline of the Adriatic sea. At that time Zadar paid taxes to the Croatian kings, like all other subjects of the Croatian Kingdom. The Church and monasteries in Zadar had their landed estates in Zadar surroundings granted them by Croatian kings as landlords of Croatian territory. Italy as the state was founded/established in 1871, so how could Zadar have been Italian for more than 2000 years?!
Almost everything that you can see in nowadays town Nin, was built on the ruins of ancient Croatian city Nin, which was completely pulled down and destroyed by Venetian mercenaries in 1646, with explanation that, at time of war with Ottoman Empire, it could have been used by Ottoman army as a base for attacks on the City of Zadar.
That Action seems to me like a joint Venetian - Ottoman criminal enterprise with the common plan and purpose: destruction of Croatian cultural heritage as well as the Croatian State in general and Croatian's population (including genocid, while those Venetian - Ottoman (and Austrian) wars have lasted on Croatian territory for centuries).
After all that happend in the past, my advice to you, Lorenzo is: Show more respect to your neighbor nation and live long and happy life in peace.
