- I got a lot of the things done that were bothering me and it's really beginning to Resemble its former self. Yes, it's dirty, yes, it needs paint and fenders, but a lot of the hard parts are now made onward and upward.
Great work! I'm looking forward to seeing the steps and finished restoration. With parts powder coated, anodized wheeles and spiked tires, and paint job to match original. It's going to be SICK!
Thanks for watching
Im gonna be ecstatic to see this build all done up and finished
It may take a while
@@tricycleguy2657 it doesn’t matter to me ily be watching and waiting for every update on that thing!
I really respect what you were doing with this machine and enjoy the content. I think it’s awesome that you are trying to preserve a piece of history from a sport that is near and dear to so many of us. Keep up the good work TG.
Thanks for watching ill try to do it justice
Awesome! Progress! Thanks for the updates,
Thanks for watching
Everything about this bike is very entertaining. Great content to archive for sure. I'm hoping to see it in person one day. Missed it this year at Motorama. Share as much as you can about this build please. That pipe and knee support came out awesome!
Thanks. I'm trying to show it but not bore you with minor details
Hey buddy I finally found a 82 250r I'm so happy
Nice, be careful when you're hunting down parts, some are 82 only..... not 81 and 82 as a lot of ebay auctions say
So is the bike in the cellphone picture the bike that you own?
Yep at a dealer only convention probably in 79 or 80
Some old RD350’s and late 70’s cr125 have a “under” pipe that might be able to be modded to be close to the prototype.
The first cr250 had something similar... I couldn't bring myself to cut up any pipe, there we a few companies that made these pipes aftermarket way back then. Maybe one day I'll run across one

Me too, but there is polishing involved too hopefully it dont break the bank
