I thought to myself “why not a rototom/snare”? After all, I’ve been playing a lot of #drumandbass & other #junglist stuff.
I’m pretty pleased with the results. What do you think?
The only things needed for this are a rototom of any size you like (mine is an 8”), a set of cut snares, a decent drill (with bits) & a couple of screws. It took about 5 mins total.
Btw are puresound snares I cut in 1-2 for a Toca snare/timbale that requires cut snares.

The quality on these this usually isn’t great so I’d recommend getting some decent wires and cutting them with a pair of tin snips.
