I suspect that Episode 12 was directed by Harashima Takanobu rather than Fuga Yaegashi (八重樫風雅), as the directing style deviates from Yaegashi’s usual approach. Harashima Takanobu faced criticism from IHTS fans for his handling of Episode 7, and it seems possible that Yaegashi might be covering for him by listing himself as the director for Episode 12. While I appreciate the series, I was quite disappointed with Episode 12. The storyline felt disjointed, particularly during the confession scene. The performances by Motoki & Tora were notably stiff and unnatural, which detracted from the emotional impact.
