Language Learning Goals 2023

In this video I shared my plan for 2023, how i'm going to learn langauges. I set language learning goals for 4 languages: danish, english, ukranian and navajo.

Navajo is a fascinating language to learn! The number of native speakers has dwindled a lot due to the oppression of indigenous people in the US however there have been a lot of revitalization efforts and Navajo is one of the Native languages that is holding on the best in the Americas. So by learning it you are also contributing to its revitalization:)

Oh, wow! 😯 now I’m kinda regretting that there are only few units in Duolingo of this language. But I believe it’s a demo version, maybe in the future they will extend the number of lessons 😄

I really love the decoration of your room. And you make me want to refurbish my room like yours in the future hehe. And thanks for your advice in the first minute of the video. Learning languages should be enjoyable and funny so that we can follow our schedule consistently. I was so depressed with my language learning before watching your videos.

Hey Danny, if you’re learning Navajo, there is a new Tv series that came out called Dark Winds and they speak some Navajo, and its an interesting show, so you might like it and learn a little bit of the language!

Navajo is A native american language but not THE native american language. There are so so many more. However, if you are interested, I reccomend the game Beyond Two Souls. It has a chapter about Nabajo tribal members who also speak some Navajo if I remember correctly. Like not a ton, but definitely a few words.
