@@darealist7228 yes, definitely confirmed! :D but you need a pretty good amount of mobile data. i can say that playing outside with no wifi, so just with my mobile data on, takes around 1 GB for 20-30min of gameplay (not only gears, but also resident evil, batman, injustice 2, etc). so i would recommend at least 20GB of mobile data or more, if you're willing to play games while being in the train or somewhere else outside. i have signed a contract with my internet provider that i have unlimited high speed internet on my phone. but remember: this is only necessary when you're at some place where you don't have access to wifi. so in my case, there's almost no wifi at all in the city / the train where i live (living in a big town in germany), which made me sign the contract with my internetprovider. but in the end, it's up to you if you need extra mobile data, or if you're lucky by having the chance to get everywhere access to wifi. i hope this could help you✌

I am a hardcore Sony Playstation fan and I can say that Microsoft really has won the console war this generation. I picked up an Xbox Series X yesterday and love it.... game pass is amazing, xbox cloud gaming through game pass app is amazing, I can party chat on my PC with my xbox friends via the Xbox app, there are a ton of games that are cross progression and cross platform with both Xbox and PC.... wow I am seriously impressed.
Game pass has been in the works since last gen. As well as cloud gaming been doing that since around 2014 or so... just redefined and no longer in beta
I'm going to ask you is with the game pass app for the cloud gaming some of the games say they are not installed yet they are already installed on the Xbox what should I do ?
Cool I've been using the Saitake Telescopic controller with Xbox Remote play and it's fantastic atm! I found the experience very comfortable overall (the analogs are naff but buying silicone covers for them helped a lot).
I'm so disappointed. I thought remote play meant. I could play my Xbox games hundreds of miles away off of my phone. Not just turning my phone into a TV screen while still at the house.
Damn, I've been so out of the loop with gaming for about a decade. I have two problems: 1. When using the Game Pass app, the analogue sticks, the dpad, and triggers are unresponsive. The letter buttons and bumpers all work. 2. When using the Xbox App, the only way it works is if my controller is connected to my console. If I try to do it with the controller connected to the phone, it doesn't work at all. I have an Elite Series 2 and it works for navigating my phone, but not remote play.

I knew how to get the remote play but didn’t know how to connect the controller to my phone. Thank you this video helped and you explain everything I needed to know
there's some kinda option for it, but unless your on the go alot, your controller will work just fine. as long as you have an xbox controller near, you can just hit continue and it'll work. i should point out, recording or video capture with the Series X might not work while in remote play. older games is like that to.
As always, a great vid! Brother Xbox Game Pass is such a nice bang for buck, the list of games is impressive and having the option to play them either on console, PC and now your phone is amazing.
