Good racing.
@KTM3DAN yes.
thats just fast!!!!
The extra weight on the 250sx came from the rising rate linkage and the 250sxf got EFI which makes it heavier. I think they should've kept the PDS suspension on the 2t and kept it lighter
@BEN80155 Yup. The top 250 C riders are sandbagging B riders, the top B riders are sandbagging A riders.
@jwctex14 To talk about everything being equal; KTM is the only big manufacturer that still develops 2-strokes along side their 4-strokes. Their 2012 250SX weighs 217lbs while the 250SX-F weighs 231lbs. That is a 14lb difference. In previous years the 2t was 212lbs and the F was 220lbs.
Everything else being equal a 2-stroke IS lighter.
I love me some 250 two strokes.
@nawscawp wave to the camera? I have no idea.
@BEN80155 Yeah it is, same Horse-power for them. So it's not unfair. 250 2-stroke and 250 4-stroke is unfair.
dont those stones hurt when theyre being flicked at you?
@jwctex14 Where do you think it started in the first place, with the new design of a 4 stroke to take over for the 2 stroke.. it all stems from that, as long as you ride thou, thats all i care about anyways..
@nawscawp
I think he says wave to the camera.
Dam that boy gets roosted the whole race.....And Rio Bravo roost can hurt!
so, the 250B rider is just as faster then the 250A rider? so when the B rider goes back down and races B class, isnt that sandbagging?
yeapppp.. they're that good.. even yamahas can't beat yamahas
@KTM3DAN 250Fs and 125s run 250C, B, and A
@hadriel8 The only reason there is so much hate on 2 strokes is because so many people hate on 4 strokes. If there is a video with a 2 stroke the top comments are usually something to do with how awesome they are. So 4 stroke fans disagree and state their opinion, then 2 stroke fans take it over the top with bullshit statistics they pull out of their ass. Like 250 2 stroke being lighter than a 250 four stroke.
Nothing wrong with two yz250's pinned!
radiationman72.....the "cam guy" races supercross and outdoors with the pros on a 4 stroke. lol just so everybody here knows. i was in a couple camps with him he is a super smart rider and trainer as well not to mention an good attitude, which is hard to say for most riders these days.
@jwctex14 Given the same chassis, suspension, wheels, tires, etc, etc. a 250cc 2-stroke IS about 8lbs less than a 250F. Sorry, but you can't get away from it. The 2-stroke has LESS parts. This won't change. A 4-stroke has a camshaft, cam chain, gears, valves, valve springs, etc that a 2-stroke simply doesn't have. And the 4-stroke needs a larger head to contain it.
Learn the internal workings of both engines.
It was a bit annoying that the guy with the cam did not over take the lead rider, seemed like good riding though. It was as annoying as actually being roosted constantly in a race lol, I liked the start the best cause the cam guy done a bit of passing YAY!
@jwctex14 4-strokers are actually the ones pulling stats out of their ass. Such as 4-strokes are as light. And 4-strokes make more torque.
A 250 2t DOES weigh less than a 250 4t. About 8lbs less.
I don't want to ban 4-strokes, but the hate comes from AMA making it unfair to ride a 2-stroke in pros.
@wrigglywright i know and i guess i said it wrong,i agree with you, but i just disagree with all the hate on 2 strokes these days, they are not a dying breed of bikes, and if not for 2 strokes where the fuck would the 4 stroke have come from? Newer models (of anything) always start with something that is older than it is....in this case, precursor to the 4 stroke is a 2 smoke
@TheOfficialKC Hmm... Not true. My '09 KX250F weighs about 8lbs less than my buddy's '03 KX250
@MxQuestion572 I don't hate 4-strokes(I also own one), but I hate the trash talking fans. The ones that don't know shit about performance, how to ride, and don't know how the two engines work. I blame AMA for making unfair racing in the pros. In fair racing you would have both 2 and 4 strokes racing, 2-strokes would win the majority of races, but 4-strokes would win some, depending on the track and rider.
@BEN80155 HAH thats life
@jwctex14 that aint fair
what does he say at the end? what a waste of a camera?
0:58 sketchy corner, 1:11 even sketchier corner, 1:24 sketchiest corner, and lastly, they say 4 strokes are a better racing machine???, well they just got their asses handed to em by two 2 strokes..
@jwctex14 lol
