Seeing SM in Ennepetal was one of the greatest live performances by a Christian band-or, better said, of any band of this caliber. Truly a blessed experience for the Glory of the Son of Man.
Love these guys. My wife and I were lucky to catch 'em in Chicago years ago. They have such a great Christian message but they are also so hard-core Goth, which my wife and I were very into at the time. So few Christian witnesses in the Gothic culture, and these guys were such an encouragement to us.
Absolutely they do. He even wears vampire fangs sometimes... Just because. Yeah, they're goth. Maybe not the same flavor of goth as some of the more mainstream bands, but there are certainly lots of different types of goth music anyway.

Nancy McDougall; I hear you about the part where he was putting up the hand and the fans were touching it, but I think he was making it clear to give it to Jesus by repeatedly pointing upwards and the fans got it too. It is a grey area because some Christians still have idols in their lives without realizing it - so I'm sure there might have been a few there who were also glorifying the singer as well.

Gothic means Dark, like night. people who cut them selfs, and do rituals are psycho. besides Gothic is a Genre of Music, gothic music is based from Opera, but in a metal way, opera is like classical. Gothic is metal. thats my way of understanding other people may think differently, so plz dont take me wrong, thats what i think it is. my own perspective.
