While walking to Starbucks I saw an older extremely thin homeless lady grabbing a piece of bread from a trash can... How could I ignore her and spend $6 on a cup of coffee? I'm not rich but I don't need Starbucks... I used that money to buy her a warm meal. We can all help a lot by sacrificing so little. Andy, awesome heart

He took a picture with my friend (which I have saved on my phone) who worked at the nearby movie theatre the night before the concert and she said he was the sweetest man. I work with kids who are always struggling in their home lives and I feel at times I'm drowning just trying to save them too. Think about that the next time you are buying a take away meal or coffee. You maybe homeless one day, sitting on a street corner and begging for a dollar. If all of the people that disliked this video only donated $5 to Andy Grammer's cause, the Union Rescue Mission would be $1480 better off. Think about that the next time you are buying a take away meal or coffee. You maybe homeless one day, sitting on a street corner and begging for a dollar. That take away meal and or coffee that you had when this song was playing on your computer at home, will seem like a world away. I thank Andy Grammer for bringing the plight of the homeless to the world through his music. It is not only the USA that has a homeless people problem. It is world wide. To quote lyrics from an Australian band Midnight Oil, " the rich get richer/ the poor get the picture/the bombs never hit ya when your down so low". These words are so relevant today as they were years ago. Nothing has changed. The song is called Read About It. Well done Andy Grammer and keep up the good work mate. At least Australia loves you.

Absolutely breaks my heart and burns my soul that we just don't look after each other as we could. There is so much to go around and the amount of waste is unbearable and yet the wealth is held by so few that do so little good with it....... kindness, understanding, an open ear and heart cost nothing........... beautiful song with a message.......let's hope everyone hears it.
