Yes, but the stitch pattern and count would change with additional rounds. You would have to work it out as you go.

The finished size of any project is affected by choice of yarn weight, tension and hook size. You can make those adjustments and see if that helps.

I'm sorry you're having difficulty but without watching you crochet, I can't really say what is going wrong for you. I have made dozens of these and they always turn out just as you see in the video. You could always switch the type of yarn, hook and tension that you are using to see if that makes a difference.

Sometimes setting it aside for awhile and trying later can make all the difference. The best tips that I can give you are: keep your tension consistent, use a stitch marker as demonstrated and count your stitches at the end of each round to make sure you are on the right track. You got this! 🙂

You can use any type of magic circle that you want. The double ring method is the most reliable method to ensure that the work does not come apart.

I used a medium 4 weight yarn with a size H hook or 5.0 mm. Of course you can adjust the size by choosing a different yarn or crochet hook size to fit your needs.
