Thanks for yet another video. :) I‘m more and more looking forward to getting my Kodiaq in October. Quick question regarding AdBlue, what diameter is the hose/pipe that goes from the AdBlue filler neck down to the actual AdBlue tank? On my Audi currently it is approximately 5mm, which makes filling up a real pain. I know that on the VW Passat it is much bigger and I hope the Kodiaq has a large diameter pipe as well.
Hi Matthias! If you check the video at 00:30 (th-cam.com/video/5bcFiljModQ/w-d-xo.html), you will notice that the diameter of the pipe is almost as large as my thumb :) so it should be around 15 mm. I've also checked my uncut footage of the AdBlue refilling and the 5L bottle was emptied in 35 seconds. I hope that helps you. I hope you have ordered your bear with digital display that is now described in a new manual for models from 11/2017 on (www.skoda-auto.com/en/mini-apps/owners-manuals/kodiaq). I hate Skoda because it didn't offer it from the beginning. Best regards, Roman
Hi Roman, thank you for the quick reply. That’s not the tube I was talking about, but it doesn’t matter. The 35 seconds figure definitely is good news and answers my question. I‘m very happy to hear that it is so quick. It takes approximately 5 minutes to put 5 liters of AdBlue into my Audi. I have ordered the Kodiaq as „Style“ version with Columbus and pretty much everything else except the Canton sound system, so I believe I have the display.
Hi Roman, yes I am satisfied and very happy about the quick and smooth refilling process. Thanks again for all the effort you put in posting these videos.
Did you press start button without having your leg on the brake pedal? Then you need to wait 30 s, put your leg on the brake and press the start button again.
From manual: Before continuing your journey, switch on just the ignition for 30 s so that the refilling can be recognized by the system. Only then start the engine.
Thanks for yet another video. :)

Matthias, because of dislikes I removed the '35s' movie but at least I hope you are satisfied now :)

Cheers!
See where you have placed cap from AddBlue tank? Use the same for fuel tank cap.
Another simply clever solution :)
Predrag Pejic yes all VAG cars have that in Diesel versions.
tsi not?
No, just TDI.
Karoq 1.5 TSI has it :P th-cam.com/video/QaYDi16zJKk/w-d-xo.html
I have just added my first round of ad blue. Well, it's not blue :-D
13,60 € for 10 liter and it states it will last for 10.000 Km
One more thing to worry about and pay.
Yes :) BTW I love your videos
You can fill adblue for 0,7€/l on truck part of omw pumps, drectly from nozzle
Employees at OMV told me that it is not for cars when asked where can I find the nozzle ☹️
Roman Verhovsek on grosuplje pump, nozzle 11, fits kodiaq like a glove (:
I have put nearly 10l of adblue in but my adblue range still shows 900 miles. I did the ignition for 30 seconds as well :/ any ideas?

Do you have to put that in your car for normal running?
The car stops working without adblue.
Nice car 👌👌👌👌
I have an Octavia with 8k klm on the clock. Was there AdBlue already in the tank and how do I know when to add more and how much?
Yers, AdBlue was filled to 100%. You will be frequently notified by Kodiaq (beep + warning text) starting from 2400 km left.
I just did this and it did not register. How do I get it to register?
From manual: Before continuing your journey, switch on just the ignition for 30 s so that the refilling can be recognized by the system. Only then start the engine.
@@RomanVerhovsek of course the computer must register the refill. How can I tell when my car Octavia with 8k klm on the clock needs a fill of AdBlue.
@@mariecarton8611 it will beep with 2500km notice
Just pour in distilled water. It won't clog the injector and it'll cost fuck all.
