Isuzu south africa has announced a D-max X-rider limited edition just ahead of the launch of the all new D-max range in the Second quarter of 2022. Ford dropped a limited edition Ranger stormtrak which was aimed at dethroning the toyota hilux Legend.

I'm tempted by the 2022 D'Max 😭😭😭😭😭. Isuzu seems bullet proof, especially the iconic 2.5 engine you have. Those engines just keep going!

Isuzu has a boring interior. Not that powerful compared to ranger and amarok. But it's extremely reliable gets the job done, but shouldn't be a problem with an ECU tune to atleast 140kw

By looking at the new BT50 prices I think the next D-Max will be pricey but me too I would wait for the new one

Mazda failed dismally with the pricing of the BT-50, but since it is based on the D-max platform you might be right about the new Gen D-max being pricey. I hope this won't be the case because the bakkie segment is now very competitive in S.A

Hilux is legendary for giving the very least at the most expensive price like 3 year warranty only(!!?), bed liner extra, bed cover extra, leather extra etc etc etc... if you look at comparable model..... people buying hilux is insane.....
