  • Ombre Brows technique is hard to get right and many PMU brow artists struggle with poor retention. Using this one easy fix for perfect pixels will change your healed brow results instantly. Your machine and hand speed is critical for the implantation of the PMU pigment to get amazing retention and perfect healed results.
    Many brow beginners shade (both pendulum movement and whip shading) too fast and aggressively leaving trauma in the skin. This will most likely lead to scabbing on the brows and the loss of pigment. Perfect implantation is key and that is down to angle and hand speed to implant perfectly circular pixels. Watch this video and practice along with your latex.

    What size needle do you use for ombre? 1RL and .18 or .20? Also, my pixels aren't coming out very visible? What speed are you using? Thanks much.

    Katie…. Just going away from pixels… do you ever to circles. I don’t get enough ink in when doing pixels. If filling with circles do you always whip in your outline.. I’m thinking a thick outline so I can but up against it with my circles and not go over my line. This is important to me and maybe others. Please help🙏🏻

      Your needle may be out too far if you aren’t getting pixels. I’d suggest starting at 1.5mm of the needle sticking out and up to 2mm in length. Too much flow means needle is too short. Also, go slower and see if that helps.

    what machine speed would you recommend for shading?

    • @pmumentor
      @pmumentor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Impossible to say. It depends on too many factors. This video explains it. If in doubt, start slow. Look at your latex practice. If you’re getting obvious patches it’s too fast. Every machine is also different.
