Cliff spoke truthfully about issues that are often not given the serious consideration they deserve. The callers also did a great job contributing relevant points that reflect the realities of Jamaica today. It’s encouraging to know that we still have thoughtful individuals with balanced perspectives and genuine political insights.

I often wonder about my country and those who support a political party only for personal financial gain, rather than out of love for their country. I believe that when the economy is growing and the country is well-managed, the entire population benefits. If I hadn’t travelled to the UK, I wouldn’t have known that most political workers there are volunteers to the party they support. Certain positions are paid on an hourly rate, while others are often carried out as a civic duty rather than for personal profit. The PNP today is running scared as the JLP has a net international reserve of 4 billion USD, a GDP per capita of 70% to debt which means the country has more money to spend instead of spending on debt. With such a huge amount of reserve going into an election is stuff the PNP could only dream of when they were jn office.
