In this video I'm just going over the most important kalista builds in season 14 for those who are clueless on what to buy.
And the only reason I'm not going over full lethality build is because I refuse to acknowledge this build. I just refuse and you have to cope.

Normally I get rid of all random recommendations regarding league content but my god It's been a while since I chuckled this much, it's just a vibe from a person who knows how much "fun" it is to play adc role. well done, great video, that's a like for sure

Someday I'll make an entire kalista army, this champ is just too fun and underrated to not play
@@yuzuu1337 I completely agree. Ever since she got released she's been my favorite design and gameplay wise but I don't have time time or patience to learn to play her well. Maybe one day I'll find that motivation :)

I'll give the bruiser build a try once they nerf Jhin and Jinx. Those two are so OP for no reason it's sickening.
Hf with that, sadly anything else other than crit is not as good anymore, tho at least randuin exists so gonna be more value from that
@@yuzuu1337 I don't think it's the crit itself though. Those two + Ashe are long range and Kalista struggles a bit against it. The most manageable one is Jhin but he's too strong rn.

I'm a Kalista main for some reason and I'd like to know what runes you recommend for the bruiser build? Always LT or is it situational?
LT all the way, with tankiness you get a lot more value in the mid and late game compared to other runes.
But if you think you'll be struggling on the lane, pta isnt as bad of an option either
what is ur opinion on eclipse this season? maybe a flex item for the assassin build?
Compared to back when it was mythic, its utterly useless on her nowadays sadly
I PLay Kalista mid but never tried the bruiser build, gonna give it a try :) What are the runes for this one?
Same as the normal lethal tempo, but you go resolve pretty much every time

can you explain the value of unlocking [W] compared to 2 points to [Q] or more into [E] like what would be the best order ?
Taking W lvl2 in most cases is good. If your supp is ranged they can easily proc it, if they can all in, they can proc it. It deals 14% MAX health magic dmg, and you can use it on both enemies with no cd in between. It also lets you track jg camps timers and jg path. Meanwhile your q deals slightly less, you can miss it, and it drains your mana pool

what about lethality i mean yoomu rush, they play her on esport scene a lot with that build
Its mediocre at best, in soloq crit with lethality is more value because there are a lot more kills, meanwhile in soloq if they play it, they have draft to properly deal with all enemies, while in soloq you cant rely on teammates

You basically buy items not just for the stats, but for the passive as well. Stattik has mediocre stats, and the passive is utterly useless, it deals barely any dmg, and for the waveclear, if you set up minions you can QE entire wave usually at around lvl 9 or 10,or earlier if you got really fed

I'll be making an update on runes and items soon, but basically go hob with crit/lethality mainly, or PTA with on hit, tho this one is meh

I'm so fucking pissed off about this dumbass patch. They have RUINED Kalista for the foreseeable future (in my opinion.) HOB just doesn't have the same potential for me.
HoB a bit nerfed but she still has potential with PTA, at least people will finally stop stacking AS on her
