They have planned sets but their execution is key to their success. I, myself, lost against my friend who uses a lot of planned sets while I almost always freestyle. While I instantly recognized his set, his execution was flawless and better than mine. In the eyes of the judges, thats what matters
My preference isn't really power based eitiher. If you noticed, I mentioned The Squadron which I think would slaughter Rivers. They don't stand out like they used to. They were obliterated against 4F just a bit ago. I'm sure they'd lose to screws such as The Squadron and KHCA as well

Physicx is battling again, Rivers got some new kids in the crew. It might not be the best crew out there right now, but Rivers is definitely not overrated.

i miss the old born. Seems like he's more sluggish & doesn't have that intensity that he once had i think it goes with rivers too there vibe is different if you look at older vids. They were pure bboying.
First, i m big fan of the rivers, but unfortunately I've never seen rivers won the major battle before... that's too bad !!! I like the their old school style, but some members in the rivers cannot catch up the others.. which means some should be qualified again or trained very well before the battle seriously or should get the new school movers to back up big moves from other crews... just my guess so.. never mind !!
attitude does not override technique and difficulty. Rivers used to be my fav but they seem to be on the decline. I'm not sure where the creativity comes from when Physicx decided to start doing footwork instead of the tricks that he was known for. While born is extra clean, he shown the same personality in his dancing. Everyone, imo, in Rivers is starting to look the same.

Hong 10 increased his speed by a lot, lost a bit of his smooth flow for the speed though.
Again, drifterz participated in this event, I don't see any good reason why hong10 battled with Jinjo and not with his own crew.
