Dankjewel Gert, Marjolein en Cees Jan voor deze prachtig uitgevoerde bewerking van de man die ik vanaf mijn dertiende met open mond leerde bewonderen. Juist in deze tijd is het zo broodnodig om te leren om die goede God maar te laten zorgen. "Leer mij volgen zonder vragen; Vader, wat U doet is goed". Soms zo moeilijk, maar dat had Feike ook geleerd. (Iets voor a.s. donderdag?) Het ga jullie goed! Groet, Sjaak

Magnificent! Another outstanding display of musicality! This is a beautiful song composed by one of the greatest and played by one of best organists of our time. What a great way to start the day! We really enjoyed your concert this past Thursday. And thank you for playing Feike Asma's improvisation of Psalm 42! No one plays that Psalm as well as Gert. Looking forward to next weeks concert! Now off to order some CD's from his website.
@@tampanativeson You are absolutely right. He also has a unique talent of expressing feeling through his playing. He plays from the heart with passion. Every time I hear/see him play I can feel the emotion within my soul begin to rise. Especially with the Psalms and many of the Hymns.

Een van de, naar mijn mening, betere composities van Feike Asma. Voortreffelijk door Gert vertolkt op dit schitterende orgel. Ik was er in 2017 bij en ben heel blij dat dit nu online beschikbaar is gekomen. Hiervoor moet zijn betaald dus een donatie is zeer welkom in deze concertloze tijd.
Was er ook bij.Na afloop werd hij door zijn geroerde opa geknuffeld;ik vond dat een ontroerend om te zien...
@@maartenvandijk8478 Dat knuffelen door zijn opa kunnen wij ons niet herinneren. Het was ook druk in de kerk. Maar ik kan mij voorstellen dat dit ontroerend was.
@@PieterDubbelman Nou,het was ontroerend om te zien, een ontroerde man, die zijn kleinzoon een knuffel gaf.Donderdag bij zijn concert had Gert het over zijn opa, met duidelijk een brok in zijn keel.Ze hebben een heel bijzondere relatie met elkaar.Gert is een heel gevoelig mens, dat is iets wat ik heel zeker weet.
@@maartenvandijk8478 ik ben ook vaak ontroerd door Gert zijn muziek. En dat geldt voor veel van zijn fans, gelet op de reacties hier. Iemand die mensen ontroert met zijn muziek moet wel een gevoelig mens zijn.
Magnifiek! Mijn vader had dit prachtig gevonden. Hij was zelf organist. Wàs, omdat hij helaas véél te jong is overleden. Ik genoot er altijd van wanneer hij speelde én door zijn lesgeven, speelde ik zelf op mijn 14e grote stukken van Bach. Ik heb nu dus ook wel een traantje weg gepinkt. Wat heb jij een begenadigd talent! Gods rijke zegen toegewenst voor jou en je familie.

+gertrw *Thanks for an archived vid of alternate chorale-prelude technique.* On this Feike Asma (BUMA-STEMRA) fantasia, the hymn lead is played on _Rugwerk,_ whereas 17th- and 18th-Century Lutheran chorale-preludes consistent with Johann-Sebaſtian Bach (GeMA) have hymn lead on _Pedalklavier._
