I’ve been getting very interested in the Japanese car scene lately and it’s truly inspiring me to start a build. I did own a 87 Mitsubishi starion. I’ve been looking at some 300zx’s in my area and I’m really inspired to start a daily build..... I love it.
My personal rating: EF9 - 7/10 EG coupe - 7,5/10 EK4 - 7/10 EG6 - 11/10 EF9 green - 10/10 CRX - 7,5/10 EF3 blue - 8,1/10 EF3 white - 8,5/10 EF8 white - 7,3/10 NSX 6,9/10 EF3 red - 8,9/10 My favorite was Green EF9, kind of my build style, love how it looks blue at 8:10
I have three possible explanations for that scoop. 1. If the radiator is placed at the back of the car like they do in most drift cars, maybe that scoop may carry some air to it. I know this is not a drift car, but weight distrubution may be the issue here. I couldn't detect any hoses or smth like that in the video, so this one was the most farfetched one. 2. It may help to keep the cabin cool via roof as a replacement of air-con with some unwanted weight. I couldn't see the roof at the footage, so I don't know for sure but let's admit it. This might be it! 3. It's just a weird, non-functional Japanese thing that they often add to their modifications list. I think this is the most reliable exp for that.
kanjo racers are rumored to drive their cars under the police car elevators so the police can't lower their car down to the roadway and chase after speeding cars. I'de love to see a video of this happening if its true.
I was talking with them about that and it is not possible to buy those parts online as they are not interested in selling them worldwide. The only option is to go to japan and go to an event where they happen to sell them. Other than that its just hoping that someone will sell them second hand.
The roof scoop is for air flow to the windshield. Because hot and cold air makes condensation and fog up windshield but temperature being same on both sides of the glass makes for clearer view. Or could just be a fake scoop because race car! "American taste" LoL..

the roof scoop is similar to the rally racing with there roof scoops to allow air flow into the chassis.

EF wouldn't have a B series, it would be a 16/16 from the factory so obviously swapped. B series chassis code is EE8
Ee8 is a european crx with a b series, not a civic

Currently nowhere but roughsmoke is the only dealer of NGR so they will probably sell them sooner or later
