Great trip report. The A321lr definitely is a superb aircraft for transatlantic flights. I've flown on it a few times
The A321lr is an amazing aircraft and definitely a worthy competitor of the 757! Hope to see some more flights on the 321lr (hopefully Aer Lingus or even Air Transat)
I've crossed the Atlantic with JetBlue, great experience. My only wish is that the aircraft had more power so the top speed matches the wide bodies and help it fly higher above the weather. It's max altitude is limited especially during initial stage of flight before it burns off some fuel
Yeah definitely agree with it. Gets very annoying that we cruise around 3/4000 ft below the wide bodies and even worse seeing the likes of delta and BA overtaking you on FR24. Apart from that, a perfect airline and aircreft
Great flight report, I like the 321 Neo. JetBlue seems ok. I think about to fly with them next winter when JetBlue starts services from Schiphol Amsterdam to JFK. The short impression of Manhattan at the and of the video is very nice as well, thanks for sharing 👍
Cheers! I'm sure you'll enjoy the experience! Manhattan is beautiful so I had to create a montage for it!
how was this flight across the pond on the narrowbody. It seemed like you enjoyed it but was it truly comfortable for the 7 hrs?
I definitely enjoyed it, and was one of the best flights I’ve experienced. Seats are slightly narrow but i guess that’s mostly due to the emergency exit as the other seats seem great. Other than that, seat padding was comfortable and the service was great!
@@FLYERLHR glad to hear it.
Good Luck! 🙌🏼
Today's narrowbodies are more comfortable than flying a DC-8 or a 707 back in the day.
Well technology has developed a lot! I’d do anything to fly on those
2:52 how tall are you? I booked the exact same seat as you on the same aircraft from Amsterdam to Boston in hopes of some good legroom. I'm 188cm tall, so I was wondering if you had any issues with the legroom at that seat?
I’m around 181cm and found it to be pretty good!
I hope airbus a321xlr enter service soon next year
Apparently a few more months, and it’s just a waiting game till we see some more!
That seems pretty good compared to other trans Atlantic economy seats
It certainly does and ticks all the boxes you want! With Free wifi, I'm sure this takes top spot with British Airways
Nice vid, I'm a jet blue guy. Don't like dyin
What’s the editing software you use?
iMovie!
@@FLYERLHR thank you
Wifi available in the flight?
Yes! It’s available from boarding to deplaning
Why not first class
well Jetblue flies the A321neo, having a first class cabin would only mean more staff, another extra cabin reducing economy even more. business itself wasn't full when I went so I'd imagine first would be absolutely empty

We’re your legs uncomfortable?
Nope! It was probably the best legroom/space I’ve had.
Free unlimited drinks? Did you ask for the Pepsi with your snacks?
Yep! All of the snacks are at the back of the aircraft and also free unlimited beverages!
NYC the best city in the world.
You’re not wrong!
Amazing vídeo I loved the end :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic videos really nice food on the blue jets seats look comfortable to looking forward to seeing Gatwick airport to new York 👍🇬🇧

??
11:34 is that Boston?
Yes it is!
@@FLYERLHR how long did it take to reach New York after flying by Boston?
@redscorpion9411 I’d say it took around 30/40 minutes
great video. So jetbvlue provides free food on transatlantic flights. Did not even know that
Thanks! They do! Even better, it supports local businesses within NYC so it’s 👌🏼
Great trip report. I am taking the LHR-JFK flight with Jetblue and am really looking forward to it. Thank you.
That’s great to hear! It’s the best transatlantic service so you’ll be in good hands! Enjoy!
Nice video. With good food and service, and less people at the luggage belt, I’d choose JetBlue over any wide body carrier.
Cheers! They’re definitely the best American carrier that does transatlantic flights! Can’t wait to try out Virgin one day! 🙌🏼
Jetblue is flying to Paris this Summer
Yes I’ve heard. A great route for JetBlue and a great way of expanding into the European market!
Looking sleek chap👍🏻 Keep'em coming.
Thanks 👍
Im flying LGW to JFK with jetBlue next Christmas. Before i get the return flight, i'm definitely getting to JFK early, and having a look around the TWA hotel.
Sounds like a plan! I’d book a nights stay (maybe the last day in JFK) to get great views of the tarmac and unrestricted access to the hotel! Enjoy
@@FLYERLHR I've already booked my hotel in Chelsea.
Well looking at the situation like this, having a hotel in Chelsea is miles better than having a hotel in Queens 😅
@@FLYERLHR i agree! 🤣
