Are you concerned?
This is why I don’t join fandoms. I can play Wuthering Waves and Snowbreak and not give a single shit about what either community says, the game is fun and is ESPECIALLY MORE ENTERTAINING than any AAA game in the last few years.
Like just enjoy the frickin games@@shintaro797
I am not conserned at all. Why? Because I am not part of any comunity. I play Genshin and Wuwa. They are both great. Each has something to offer and unfortunately, each have a toxic fandom. There is nothing I can do about that, thus I will not be stressed. As long the game is entertaining and devs are doing their job, I am a happy man.
hows your comment 10 hours ago when video was uploaded 16 mins ago
What's concerning is the toxicity in a free to play game where anyone can download and enjoy any of the three games listed on this video
Imagine enjoying the revenue report than enjoying the game itself
💯 😊
There are tons of numbers nerds in the comments too. Why are so many of them obsessed with sales numbers? It's like a D measuring size contest lmao
These people enjoy the revenue more than the actual game 😂😂
@@Eins3467 why are they even doing that are they stockholders or something?
Its the hoyoshills
imagine u only play a game if they earn $50million a month kek. what a dumb mindset they have
Yup. Arknights, Blue Archive, Azur Lane etc., have been doing incredibly well on a few million per month.
Agree bro. Monthly revenue of a game isn't the reason why I play. I still love games such as Blue Archive, FGO, WuWa, even if they are not too popular.
Seriously what are those people thinking about? Do they really think a huge revenue gacha game is good?
@@ace12058 FGO 💀
@@ahejleira5654 Yeah I know FGO is hell, but not too bad personally
@@Stixxy playing eversoul and bleach brave soul too, and so far, they're doing fine
doesn't matter to me as long as wuwa and kuro delivers. im fine supporting them.
I second this
That's great. But please don't take the gacha revenue chart seriously. That chart is only for mobile revenue. WuWa is a PC game. 99% of their playerbase is on PC.
No matter what WuWa does, the mobile revenue won't change much because the mobile experience sucks and most of their players are on PC making PC-transactions.
Kuro bot
@@milmil5350kuro shill copping
@@cloud380not a single thing he said was shilling Kuro 😂
None of these games are dying
WuWa is only two patches in and kuro knows how to make good games and hoyoverse is like the titan of the industry they're too big to fall
Competition is good for them its only when they try to defame each other is there a problem
Plus, people say games are dying, just the spite them all fucking time
Tower of fantasy has been dying for years and yet "still here bitches"
Just a mention how much rewards hoyo give only because they afraid of others games 😅
Genshin made 3x the amount that WuWa made in a filler patch even with the advantage of a Natlan's release
@@HawkieTalk And they're still at the top, why is that? Hmmm? Care to explain? Other than mocking
@xenoemblem7 imagine you hire over 5k people, now imagine you need to pay a good amount for everyone. Congratulations now, you know Hoyo situation.
Lastly, what happens when funds become scarce due to poorer sales and investors and employees need income?
🤔
@@HawkieTalk It's funny Genshin is suddenly giving out rewards larger than the anniversary rewards after games like Wuwa gave out a good amount of freebies (which is btw normal at PGR and other games). Even when Star Rail was giving out a free 5* unit Genshin didn't budge at all.
if wuwa is dead then wtf is pgr?
they're doing just fine even though the revenue is way worse for several years
It's like these people only play for who makes the most money instead of enjoying the games that the devs put their heart and soul into!!
B-but 13 million USD bad! Dead game! Wuwa bad bad bad agddhfhajdhajdjsmffdss Smh not like I expected much. Most gacha players can't use their brains properly.
@@AuroraSun94 You see it in this comment section and once again it's Hoyoshills lmao. It's like having big sales numbers is their sole identity.
@@Eins3467And it's a bad identity. Not everytime HSR, Genshin, and ZZZ peaks revenue, sometimes there'll be slow activity, there are cases where a live-service game gains less revenue than expected, take a look at Fate: Grand Order.
Also pgr still can cook badass animations like holy hell 😮
No cuz I don't earn a single dime from those revenues😂
its toxic nowadays cause the tourist are being the loudest. the average gacha game enjoyers are just chilling
Yup, which is sad!
12,364,815 wuwu players, 65 million genshin players, zzz had 50 million downloads, none of these games are dying anytime in the next year or two.
Wuwa has 40 mil register
Genshin especially, most people who are still playing are in it for the long run. Everyone who didn't like genshin already dropped it for WuWa, ZZZ or any of the other game that came out recently
bro genshin had natlan(A whole year waited region) still they fked up
@@Beingbased100 how exactly?
i learnt the hard and truthful way from the mature players/people of pgr and wuwa, they said that I should never be worry about kurogames because if the revenue really looks like that, how are they still making the game? and that i realized, the revenue chart thingy does not matter and not important at all, it doesnt benefit any of us players besides anyone who tries to saying that that game or the other game is doing bad or not, it really doesn't matter at all honestly. And with that I would say, nope! none of the games are in trouble since it's not us who's managing the money of the company or the game, and I should focus on enjoying whatever is in the game instead of what everyone is going at eachother's throat for no purpose or meaning
Relying on revenue chart for gacha game has to be one of the most pathetic, insecure, saddest behavior.
Remembr that the company probably has 10s of millions of savings, they could afford to literally have 0 earnings and the next update would still be the same size.
True. Kuro still can release bangers on pgr (looking at the new update). Also I'm playing other games that has barely a million a month rev and they still kicking to this day. Even freakin Tower of Fantasy has been getting terrorized they other people that they will be soon EoS-ing for a freakin long time now and look at ToF, still standing~
Like i don't understand these revenue people.
It doesn't really matter who wins as long as you're enjoying the games you're playing. I'd say that this behaviour is just how gaming culture is but I don't think I've seen it as bad in the Gacha space. Personally I think the more wholesome areas of the overall community are the smaller games on Reddit like PtN and PGR, there's pretty much no toxicity there in my experience. I just wish the majority could chill out and not take it so seriously.
Most smaller games communities in general (imo) are more laid-back due to most having a very dedicated but small fan-base who just appreciate the game for what it is and support the devs while also being rather secluded from the radar, or their general fanbase are old enough to be mature and sensible. Limbus company and FGO, for example, have a very long history with the former having two prequels ( the first was 9 years ago) and the latter being anime watchers of their old series, as such, explained their quirks and reasonable altitude for things (pm sleeper agents and fate's famous "quote"). While I wish that was the case for considerable gacha games, their influences attract teenagers and chilren so there's that.
@@wattozzchimera1956 Don't forget about those wokes 😅
I don't give a sit about gacha revenue😂
There we go! Good on you! haha
AFKJourney is a total scam though. The predatory microtransaction spam and pay to win is on par with the worst I've seen in any game. Never played the gay fat woman game you're talking about, but my wife and I like to laugh at the ads when they appear.
What is exactly the gay fat woman game?
I personally found AFKJourney to be rather F2P friendly though.
I knew it. AFK Journey is somewhat predatory like AFK Arena.
Seeing the game got 65M$ in just a month, I doubt that this game must be painful in gacha.

@@ExcessumGaming That's rather interesting. Is it in general like most just can't play ZZZ or its the storage space that forsake them from doing so in mobile?
It's pretty sad that it needs to even be explained that there's nuances to these charts, and the biggest being how attractive the current banner is to players. If players dont care about the current banner unit, a lot wont spend and will keep saving for the next banner they care about. How F2P friendly a game is also something people have to take into consideration. The more F2P, the less money is required to be spent to obtain units. There's a reason why games like HI3 and PGR are consistent every month despite being lower, because their style of revenue builds more loyal players who sticks around longer.
haha people are like "we're saving for x banner," when their game is down in revenue, but when other games release mid banner characters, the same people are like "game ded"
Crazy part is, pepole need actually someone to tell them this.
Yup.
For WuWa, while a lot of people like Zhezhi there is also a lot of people who didnt bother going for her as her personality and visuals are not as appealing to all, especially on the coattails of Changli. We all also know the long awaited Verina alternative (Shorekeeper) is coming soon and a lot of us decided to simply save for her. We also know reruns are starting and then we get Camellya. I can see why Zhezhi didnt sell well even tho she is a good unit - she is simply not as appealing as the ones coming after her.
And tbh Genshin is in a similar situation - people are saving. Yes Yelan is great and this monthly might have caught the beginning of Mualani banner who is an amazing dps...but we have plenty amazing hydro dps and so plenty of people chose to wait for her rerun. Everybody is now waiting Xilonen who is a much more valuable unit than another strong hyrdo dps. And lets not forget she is also a hot cat girl, no wonder people saving for her.
Lets revisit this conversation once Shorekeeper and Xilonen banners drop. And then again after Camellya and Mavuika. See how dead these games really are.
1.2 was pretty weak content wise lets not sugarcoat it, an hologram, more events and or more main story content would have been welcome
but well its a gacha, i dont mind that much if for a patch i just get to sit back and just farm for 10 min a day and go play other games
@@ganyumaindayone1112 I can agree with that but let also agree saying "its dying" is a bit too much. Game is not dying (was the whole point of my comment). Its just a lower content patch with a mediocre banner. Plenty of games have them when they are preparing for a bigger patch. I can live with one of these every now and then, lets me work on my current chars and get better prepared for the upcomming ones.
@@kikinyx7588 never said the game is dying, i still enjoy it, but genshin did nothing for 4 years i dont want kuro to think its okay to act like that, there is tons of stuff they can do and should do, they are the underdog here its up to them to improve
i'll still play because i dont mind taking breaks from gachas in general and wuwa is still the better game in the end, but they went in a bit too dry for this patch, and should probably have started by giving out xiangli yao, giving out some materials to get him leveled and introduce content where to use him
It won't matter. When Shorekeeper drops, people are gonna go on their PC to purchase her. Meaning it won't be recorded. Gacha Revenue Chart is only for mobile transactions, not PC. 90% of WuWa players are on PC. WuWa is a PC game. Mobile is just an option and the devs don't seem to care much about it.
Kuro Games is proceeding with PC optimization like 120 fps and Nvidia cards. They'd rather do this instead of add controller support for mobile.
Mobile is an afterthought. It's convenient if you need to do dailies and you're not near your PC.
But the WuWa experience is built for PC and console. If you're playing exclusively on mobile, good luck to you. 😅
I like the fact that inside the company, Kuro is probably celebrating a lot because those lists shows just Mobile (just Iphone, tho) revenue, which is the WORST platform of Wuthering, and the one with the fewest players. Their big revenue will always come from PC, and even PS5 in future will probably get more than mobile due to its performance.
Mobile is probably around 20-30% of total revenue of Wuthering, and while people think they're dying, Kuro is just making a bunch of money on PC.
Differently from Hoyoverse, where their public are mostly mobile players; Also because their games are not too advanced both in graphics or gameplay like Wuthering, so it goes very well on mobile.
Totally agree with that assessment. I'm a WuWa PC player, and this month I spent a lot on Lunites to prep for the 1.3 patch. I wish that we could have other lists that give a more rounded view on the revenue, because I'm tired of seeing this one all the time. It only counts one specific segment, and I have no idea why so many people give this list that much prominence.
No offense, bur shouldn't developers try to cater to most players including rhe mobile gamers? Not every one can afford mid-high end devices after all
@@xenoemblem7 contrary to what the main comment said, mobile is not the "worse" platform for WW because it's unplayable, it's just because PC is far more comfortable, no matter how much they optimize mobile, I had an old laptop where even PGR was unplayable while WW and PGR played decently on my Mi9T, but I still choose to allocate some of my money to get a good enough laptop to pass both games and I'm definitely feeling and performing better in WW and PGR now.
It's not that they don't care about mobile, it's just that PC is the way to go with WW IMO, it doesn't exclude people who use phones it's just that the difference will be apparent once you try both. On the other side, I could play GI for hours on my phone when I'm not working because it's more casual, it doesn't make me wish I could use a controller of keyboard, for example.
So yeah, mobile revenue of WW will always be weak because even if it's playable, I believe that most people will hop on the chance of playing it on PC at any moment.
Finally. I thought I was in a clown world with how much people were doomposting WuWa in other videos. It's as if they forgot WuWa was a PC game. Mobile is an option (not a good one, but still an option).
ZZZ runs extremely well on mobile, so it will reap higher mobile revenue per month. There is a better divide of mobile, PC, and console players for
Hoyoverse games.
But WuWa is trying to be AAA quality with insane graphics, fps, etc. I think Kuro Games treats mobile as an afterthought. And I don't see them changing that mindset. They have high aspirations for WuWa and have their attention focused on PC and console.
@@xenoemblem7you need a high end device to run WuWa on mobile. 😅 Most people would purchase a gaming laptop (which gets more affordable every year) sooner than a $1k+ mobile tablet or phone.
People keep trying to use revenue as an attack against Kuro, but people really don’t know how much WuWa is doing for them. I heard PGR had a very rough start and despite the game having some of the best combat in the genre, and everyone knows this, PGR has very subpar revenue. You would think that game is on life support but it got a global launch, a PC client, and apparently that revenue was enough for Kuro pump out WuWa. I went back and checked a few of their sensory tower charts and in most of them PGR barely 1m in some cases. Yin Lin alone bought in 40+ million, and Changli around the same probably more. To a company like Hoyo that seems like pennies in the sink, to Kuro that kind of revenue is life changing. But people keep trying to measure “success” off of revenue alone. Is WuWa successful? Yes. Was it successful in “Killing Genshin”? No, and it doesn’t need to.

i want to smoke whatever hoyoshills are smoking with a game making 15 million being dead and whatever else everyone else is smoking with hoyogames being dead at nearly 40 million.
You see my friend, if a game doesn't have the revenue levels such as a Hoyo game, it's bad by default and a dead game. /s
I think they smoking something only Shamans smokes 😂
I think that people really need to remember a couple of things about that chart.
1: its mobile revenue only, so games there plays badly on mobile (compared to their pc version) like Wuwa has lower numbers there.
2: the revenue repport is made mostly without having access to the actual revenue numbers. All these numbers we are seeing is just estimates. The algoritme there makes these numbers bases it around reviews, amount of players, amount of downloads and amount of keys words (example: Genshin Natlan). But they dont necessarely have access to the actual revenue. Like (this is fictive) Wuwa made 100 millions on mobile the first month but their active player base on mobile is in 2nd month down with 70% so its estimated to have made 30 million in 2nd month (i know its a very simplistic example).
"Zzz is dying", "Wuwa gonna eos", "Genshin is dead".
Pgr & HI3 with just like their full month revenue its just like weekly revenue of the game above : it is what it is boi.
For whatever reason the trend that the revenue for major gacha games seems to have went down for the last few months, HSR and Genshin are earning way less than they used to for a couple of months now, ZZZ had a subpar release in Hoyo standards and have just dropped massively, WuWa at least I think on mobile only will continue a downward spiral as well even in 1.3
Even Nikke which is usually at 20M-30M average have been below 20M for the last few months even with the Evangelion collab in August it still did not break over 20M
But the crazy thing is despite those games dipping on their revenue Love and Deepballs is continously increasing in revenue
AFK Journey and Love and Deep Space are killing it in China!
my guess is the elden ring dlc and black myth wukong taking all the money
There is severe market oversaturation
I don't know about you guys, but after jumping from genshin to wuwa and than trying zzz i kinda left gatcha. I'm playing the archon Quests to know the story and thats it. Kinda avoiding live services in general for now
All the games look the same to me and I can never get invested in any of these games nowadays
honestly i kind of understand jumping up and down, what i see a lot is that they weigth too much and require too much time not so much to advance but have a sense of progress
I have nothing else to play since im broke asf so can’t play games like Final fantasy or wukong…

Honestly, that revenue page should be disabled. It creates too much unnecessary drama. And thank you for this video. I'm so tired of seeing everywhere that Wuwa is finished. It'll be finished when devs say so.
They're all doing crazy in terms of revenue. We should all be happy!

@@kingsimba9513 as someone who play wuwa, tof, genshin, honkai etc. I will gladly vote for these shytty revenue to be disable
you know the funny thing is that people have said the same about ToF. People kept saying the game is dead, the game is dying, yet after almost two years the game is still alive? Even though its more trash than what Wuva and genshin and HSR etc is.
If ToF is still not out of service, there is no wat in hell that Wuva, genshin, hsr, zzz etc is dying.
Question star rail, is the only one from hoyo that doesnt weigth as much, how much weigth now and have they optimize it to not need a ton to run them
It's so funny because ToF outlived Blue Protocol despite it "dying".
Imagine thinking revenue = good game its not how it works
Yup. Plenty of good games make low revenue, and plenty of mediocre games make high revenue.
By that logic:
*_Hoyoverse > Fromsoftware_*
Lmao 🤡🤡🤡
not at all.
Even if Wuwa, Genshin , ZZZ and star rail dies , we still have 100 other gacha games to play and more is coming.
Maybe if they paid me to play I would be concerned.
haha yup, dozens of new Gacha release per month!
It's funny how people conclude a game is in trouble just by revenues from one source when a lot of games are not really solely played on one platform, not to mention the lack of context why there are surges in some games' income. Not really concerned with GI and HSR since their income is on a plateau phase, and there's no significant decrease in their sales over the past months. As for ZZZ, if their sales shoot up in September, then I guess, people are just waiting for Jane Doe., but if not, then yeah maybe they need to consider fixing the game. AFKJ just released 2 back to back banners of popular characters, but over the months, their income is on a surge basis -- peaks at one month, then down in the next few months.... as for LADS... I've yet to see whether they can sustain their revenues. But overall, yeah, just play what want to play, and stop the boycotts which don't actually work, because gacha games are for people with no self-control.
If someone say genshin, zzz and hsr is dead,is something wrong with their brain
If u combine PC and PS5 revenue this 3 game still top 3 gacha anime revenue on market
The game can be top 10 and they’d still say it’s dead/dying. These are people who look at everything on the surface level and then jump to conclusions based on ignorance lmao

Filler patch & getting FOC 5* latest unit. This is why the players aren't spending as much. Plus, the CEO itself doesn't care that much about revenue as long as it is enough to operate for them.
Wuwa results are exactly what people expected and thats it.
nuh uh, i will still play browndust 2 even if they make 100k a month 🗿
WuWa revenue will likely drop even more in september report. next banner is free, lol. Also Kuro was surprised with how much they earned from Wuwa, They were getting like less than a million a month with PGR then suddenly got bombarded with tens of millions in just a month.
This is for mobile revenue only. WuWa is a PC game. They care more about Nvidia graphics card and 120 fps on PC than giving controller support for mobile. Mobile is an afterthought. You can't use mobile revenue to gauge how well a PC game is doing.
I would say it will go up since shorekeeper banner is at the end of the month if that counts
Me as a representative of NIKKE player, we would like to announce that, we were a bit surprised by the game offering us Evangelion Collab with 3 SSR character when absolute banger of a character is probably around the corner for 2nd year anniversary. we are saving for that banner so, we Nikke players probably topped the chart in winter 2024 when 2 year anniversary event dropped new character.
If shorekeeper banner doesn't do well then it's concerning cuz other gachas doesn't seem to spend in the game as much as wuwa... Wuwa got the best graphics specially after ge force experience is enabled and they have best cutscenes amongst all gachas ... Azur promilla seems great too
As a pc player, I don't care how wuwa did in mobile as long as in pc is top notch 😂
Ehh I say it’s between hsr genshin and zen less for best cutscenes
@@Kamena1378 I can never agree with this... Wuwa cutscenes are damnn too good no one is even close... You might not like action but the shaders and graphics in cutscenes are>>>
@@Not_finished ehh imo for example the honkai star rail penacony cutscenes has some shaders on them and they really make the colors pop plus the animation it self and hype moments really do it good. And zzz has a unique bouncy fluidness to it. And imo genshin fight scenes especially the recent one in natlan capitano vs the pyro archon blow all games out the water. It really felt like a dragon ball episode.
@@Not_finished and if the only thing they have going for it is the shaders and graphics then there’s not much of a fighting chance for it to have the best cutscenes
If wuwa is death at that revanue then what the hell is PGR ravenue a freaking Fossil at this point. That game almost always don't get mentions but its still going strong for this couple of years and no delay update and such thing happened.
Remember, "if something is free, YOU are the product." If anyone's losing whenever the revenue chart is low, it's the players.
I think this reflects why there are just some players that are heavily obsessed with seeing how their fav gacha game is profiting, as this gives them validation that "they're playing the right game."
I just don't know why they feel superior cause of it, not that the company would give them a share of the profit anyways. These are private companies, you have to have some inside connections to actually benefit off of its success besides just bragging rights.
if the combat cant match wuwa, im not concerned at all, its all i live for
As long as the game developer developing the titles I playing currently doing well and making profitable progress. That's all i care for
The most important thing is quality of a game and dev is willing to put heart and soul into their work...and it received by player for enjoyment
Wuaw is still my favorite game at the end of the day it’s just a game 😂😂😂😂😂
People really, really like to overanalyze statistics and numbers (sales numbers or concurrent connected users), and use them as de facto proof that something is on the rise or the decline. I've detested the over-reliance on websites like, "Steam Charts" and the like, because it only serves to build unnecessary tension within gaming communities, or those looking to besmirch a game they don't like. There are variables that the average gamer probably isn't aware of. For example, how much is actual profit? How much does it cost to operate a gatcha game? What is the overhead, the expenses? We just see sales numbers, but we have no clue what the take home is...
Even a lower grossing game like WuWa is on track to clear like 50 million easily by the end of the year. That is a huge amount of money. What are people on about lol.
Any person saying genshin, Wuwu, or zzz are dead are missing braincells if anything there brains are dead lol
And I'm here hoping that PGR doesn't shut down.
Gacha game fandoms are so toxic ,😭😭
A game isn't dead if it doesn't make ungodly amounts of money in a month , especially of it's a relatively new game 💀
Hoyo games do not really make ungodly amounts of money either.
Tencent's Honor of Kings is the top grossing mobile revenue and Tencent's DnF made around 500 million USD in it's first month.
I kinda worried at first, but then Xiangli Yao trailer came, and kuro showed that they still cook. So im not worried anymore kkkkkk
Assuming the lessons of MMOs carry over, there is no clear relation between how well such a game is doing financially and whether it will be shut down.
Nope for WuWa. Like they say, as long as they survive its fine.
For Genshin and ZZZ it was easely predictable.
all of hoyo's & WW had filler patches. ofc they gonna do bad. this month will be interesting. since its banger units for all of hoyo's games. we gotta see how they fair.
I think all 3 games are doing incredibly well based on their developers, publishers, and type of game!
@@roxas4587hsr had a main story patch, 1.1 is not filler.. it's 1 month in.. it can't be filler and Natlan had 6 days.
@@ParafrostV by filler it means filler characters. there are units that r popular like acheron, robin, firefly then there are units that r not. like jaoqui, boothill, yunli, jade etc. sells don't depend on the content. it depends on the units.
similarly, the entirety of the month of ZZZ, it was the end of Zhu banner & Qingyi banner. Qingyi is the least wanted unit out of the 6 units we know so far. maybe burnice will have less sells who knows but Qingyi is not more popular than Ellen, Zhu, Ceaser & the unit everyone is currently waiting for, Jane.
it was 3 days of Mualani banner. not 6. idk why Genshin's mualani or whatever her name is, her banner didn't do as good. but I have some hypothesis. maybe she hasn't shown up in the early story content yet? someone that fills her role in combat & is better than her exists? everyone is waiting for the more hyped char kinich. I don't follow genshin much but this is my guess.
this month, ZZZ will have Jane & Ceaser. HSR will have Fixiao & Robin rerun. Genshin will have Kinich. if they don't do well then that'd be a shock since this time they r not fillers.
@roxas4587 oh so filler can just be anything now.. even if it's a main story? So genshin has more filler than one piece then..
I doubt that it is dying the games may have lower profits. However that may be because of some character problems and they can grow better and stronger via making adjustments and such

people is so dumb, the gacha revenue only counts mobile, there is a lot of people who play and pay in pc and consoles, and wuwa probably is a game where most people play on pc
Wuwa's PC version uses Google Play for transactions, just like the mobile version. Both platforms share the same payment system, and all payments are recorded together under gacha revenue
@@apokarin427Do you have proof of this? Cause last time I checked I just pay direcly to kuro games on pc using my credit card. There was no mention of google play?
@@Rantinggroundssame
@@Rantinggrounds th-cam.com/video/8BAg0VtlKgU/w-d-xo.html , i trust google for payment , i dont have reason to use other service
Those comments are just trolling. There's also the PC sales that add to the revenue. Strange no one seems to share a PC sales chart.
From 2019 to September 2023, Sekiro made over 600 millions dollars. Meanwhile, first year revenue ofHsr was over 1.3 billions. Therefore, Sekiro is a dead game according to Gacha revenue experts.
And sekiro blows every gacha games ,I rather play greatest games like that than anime booba games and delu people think those greatest
Hoyoverse > Fromsoftware
Am I right, Hoyoshills?
Tencent's DnF made around 500 million USD in it's first month.
Therefore, Hoyo games and all other gacha games are dead according to gacha revenue experts
You know what's the worst thing about the revenue charts?
All that money ain't mine...
All these games are doing good some people just love hating on other gacha games. There’s alot of factors for revenue to drop and raise.
"When I went over Twitter" me crying in Brazilian
lmao sorry!
Kkkkkkkkk pois é
Man I wish everybody got along
haha yup.
I remember when Wuwa and ZZZ community are getting along together coz of that Iyo negative edge drama thing happened and the suddenly Mr. Pokke made that revenue thing vid and then suddenly all hell broke loose again 😬 like bruh the peace is actually there 🤦♂️
Seriously, it would be nice if people try to do simple math before doomposting this or that gacha basing it on incomplete data.
2024 yearly salary range in game dev in US is between $65k and $214k. So average ~$140k which translates to ~$11,7k per month. Obviously this is very much skewed because in reality most people wages are on lower end because there's more low-level employees than leaders, execs, etc. But let's be generous and also let's say we count for other expenses like server upkeep, software licenses, external hires like voice actors, etc.
So, taking this $11.7k/month, a company with 1000 employes would need monthly revenue of ~$11.9 million per month. How many gacha game companies have 1000 employees? Maybe Hoyoverse, and that's pretty much it. Oh, and there is one other small detail. Those are salaries in US, in China you can easily cut that in half, if not more. So yeah, $20 mil per month is more than any gacha making devs need. If Tower of Fantasy survived and it's not just alive but thriving, any gacha which wasn't just a quick cash grab can do it.
Not in the slightest. There is nothing to pull for in zzz or hsr so it is quiet. I don't play wuwa but assume it is much the same. Happy to see arknights doing good, still one of my favs and I play daily.
KuroCents making excuses after excuses
It amazes me that Love & Deepspace has become one of the top earners. Who could have predicted that what is normally considered a niche game would do so well?
Yup. Especially given Chinese gamers hate males in their Gacha’s, yet are the largest spending audience.
There are plenty of rich femcels in china.
Oh, they're still very popular games, but personally I stopped playing because I got tired of puzzles and skipping too much text.
If a game like Higan can somehow stay alive, none of these games are dying 😂
No we shouldnt be. As long as kuro is happy, you should be happy for them.
they make millions, millions not been made wont make a difference. we like to do these games f2p now a days bc we know how to get around not paying for tyhem and enjoying the f2p experience and everyone hasnt got alot of money to pay for all of them and you normally invest in a game to play more and like and the 5 gacha game i play i play for a bit to progress, think just getting a few gems a month or a bp is all you need. games never used to say this and we just moved on. its kind of the internets fault. if any on these games are at the bottom for a year then its a dead game
I support afk journey and love deepspace simply because they can keep mihoyo toxic fans in check because for them not in top=dead game so with those 2 in top we can consider mihoyo game is also dead by their logic that is.. So good job afk journey
The people who say Wuthering Waves is dead are dead inside 😂
I had someone say that WuWa getting 13m last month means it is "unsurprising" it is not lasting.
@@azeemsiddiqui4764 😂😂😂meanwhile, indie games in the corner making way less. Imagine believing anything that doesn't make the same revenue as genshin will not last XD
This is what happens when a game genre gets blasted to main stream and the mass population plays these game instead of the smaller groups back in the early 2010. That mainstream toxicity comes with it.
13.000.000 dollar even if you work until dead you can't get it
😂😂 That a lot of money
yeah all gacha are dead, its sad but i'll have to go play other game, i heard this game concord is thriving lately, might go there
As a f2p what I only care about is the whales stop being whales to fund the games im playing .
IDK about other people but I think that the amount of money these "Dead" games are making is enough keep the game alive until the next big hit but well, it's easy to make assumptions based on an amount of money you have never seen 😅
bro im in love with star rail ..
idc about how much they make
i just want to build my acheron team 😊❤
Its just people memeing, dont take it too seriously
Nah I remember someone who spents months vivertenly harassing and ruining threads to the point of getting doxxed.
We human beings and our need for tribalism, amirite? A need to have enemies to hate on, and "inferior" groups to look down on to make ourselves feel better.
Add to that, the miserable state of the current world irl, and lots of people are on edge and angry and frustrated at anything and everything.
Psychiatrists have a field day analyzing gamers. Some in bad faith, some in good faith. Entire books are written about gamers and the gaming scene.
Love and deepspace last month literally is just filler patche after sylus got released 2months ago, they doesn't have any new things last month literally just new memories cards wdym😭🙏
As long as I'm having fun with the gacha game, that's all that really matters to me
No one hates a thing more than "fans" of said thing.
When people say "X" game is dying, don't believe them.. It's the same when you want to know if "X" game is good or not.. Even if it has low amount of players, if devs keep the game alive (bug fixes, new stuffs, listen to their players) it isn't dying.. BP is an example, devs couldn't keep up with their game.. then it's dying now
Gacha space is just full of people on copium that other games die so that they feel safe and better about their sunk cost investment.
Idk, maybe? But what I concluded is they should be to add more contents per patch if not, where westeners hate time gated games they will loose more revenues.
Genshin revenue is kinda misleading most of the month. Usually if u play genshin u would see reruns for the 4th time and for the worst design character Emilie to make into green revenue make me disgust with anguish because so bad design i wanna delete her but cant 😢
The fact true is AFK journey is better than hoyo games 😝
The only things in trouble in gacha is your time and money as a player.
maybe the real pvp are the gacha earnings charts we find along the way
- Zenless having 50-70% fall-off after launch months is completely normal, and you could also argue they've had a "filler" period to make room for Genshin's 5.0.
- Genshin just released Natlan between the months, which will show next month.
- WuWa still struggle from early success, which forced them to move up their scheduele and "release everything prepared" to maintain the giant userbase for longer. They've hired a lot new people, and it will take some time to funnel their increased staff into in-game content. I expect Kuro to both increase market share in the long run and create new IPs, that are successful, as they've semented themselves as one of the larger successful game companies.
Compared to even early access Indy games many gacha games have less content, so it's normal that players quit or stop playing faster, compare WuWa or ZZZ to Eldenring, Monster Hunter or other RPGs like the new Mana game or if we look at Indy games palworld, Enshrouded, V Rising and so on, gacha games are much more expensive than all of these but have much less content.
We need more people like you
I watch the gacha revenue videos only to make sure the games I'm playing aren't going to EOS. I don't see a reason to get overly excited over incomplete data
whats the game playing in the background?
It's Azur Promilia!
This month's Wuwa's revenue is going to be even low because XY is free. But the game is doing just fine. People love and enjoy the game, that all matters.
who cares if its making more or less money just play whatever makes you happy
same goes too.. pokemon scarlet/violet sales more than gow ragnarok n spiderman 2.. does that make pokemon a better game?
seriously people need to stop care about how much the game make profit.. its doesnt matter as long u having fun with ur games
If i was a legit content creator I wouldn't even bother talking about the anger, hatred and drama the gacha community has against one another. Its nothing worth trying to quail something that is beyond my capabilities. We cant control other people's feelings and thought process. Best we can do is lay out the facts and keep it pushing.
haha you're not wrong.
honestly I feel like people just stick to revenue so much because they want to be the right one, even though they didn't make the game themselves at all what a weird pride
To think it got so bad gacha community really need to step up than gacha company itself
issue with Wuwa is less Chinese player base isn't spending as much, hasn't been any great patch after 1.1 characters after two fan favs it kind of died out, Broken shore probably shoot up again, big issue that monthly tracking is only "mobile" only it doesn't show console or PC sells, Wuwa still doesn't run that great on mobile probably why Asian markets can be turned off. When i played wuwa PC was way to go having controller is more ideal to play with this game then using touch screen.
there has been only 1 patch after 1.1 tho and WuWa was never gonna be as big as Hoyo games, Wuwa isnt a game for everyone from 3 yo to 103
The biggest takeaway is that men CAN sell and WILL sell. I hope the other games take this in mind.
Yup. So we shouldn't focus exclusively on women in games!
They really can sell.
Just look at FGO, the powerhouses back in the day like Gil, Merlin, Waver sells like pancake. Even the weaker ones like Rider Alexander and the KotR also sold well.
I'm just afraid that they (wuwa) might've tested the waters with Jiyan if males will sell and hopefully he did well since I'd love to play an armored male character in the future.
The games are still making banks however, this economy is not helping. People ae saving as much as they can for new characters or other major events.
IDAF about mobile anyways. Wuthering Waves on pc hits different than on moble
