Reminds me of one duel I had where my opponent made a single mis-play that cost them the entire duel. I had Speed Warrior set face-down and my back row consisted of Mirror Force, Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, Destruction Jammer, & Bottomless Trap Hole after my first turn. My opponent makes their move and uses Red-Eyes Insight (discarding Red-Eyes Archfiend to activate it) to grab a Red-Eyes Fusion from their deck, which they immediately use to bring out Red-Eyes Slash Dragon....which I immediately nail with Bottomless Trap Hole. They end their turn. For my turn I draw Monster Reborn and then play it, to bring back their Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning on my side of the field and I smack them with it for 2500 points of Direct Damage and I end my turn. They then play Red-Eyes Chick and use it's effect to bring out the actual Red-Eyes. ....And then they make their mis-play. They then play Claw of Hermos and use their Red-Eyes to make the Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword....only to have miscalculated as at that point I was the only one with a face-up monster on the field, which forced them to equip my Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning with the sword and boost it all the way up to 5500 ATK. As their hand was empty at that point and they had just one card in their back row, they ended their turn. I then draw Enemy Controller (which is about to become very important very soon), and I immediately move to the Battle Phase and declare an attack with the Red-Eyes Archfiend for game, to which they respond by activating Mirror Force, only for me to discard Enemy Controller to activate Destruction Jammer to negate and destroy that Mirror Force, allowing my attack to go through for game with just enough damage to drop them to 0 LP. I admittedly felt really bad for them due to that particular mis-play, which is why I went for game so aggressively, I didn't want to draw things out any more than necessary. And it's cases like that that make me actually *READ MY CARDS* before I actually play any of them! XD That entire duel literally lasted a total of 5 turns.
@@gamester512 hehehe nice see it only takes one mistake to lose the whole thing that's why reading the cards or memorizing their effects is so important.
My first yugioh structure deck was Gates of the Underworld, and have loved it ever since. And I couldnt be happier that Dark Worlds got more support recently!
He doesn't really need to defend for anything ,Dion has been cooking Sam several times tbh lol. It's more like he needs to come back to put Sam in his place again lol. Also we need Doto to try to come back into this game again, I haven't seen that man dueling for the longest.
Rhyme here is at a double disadvantage, he’s both a dragon ball and a yugioh fan, and he’s trying to read. BTW i started with yusei structure deck, a bit late but it was what got me into yu gi oh
I GREW UP ON THE STREETS OF NEW DOMINO CITY! i got some junk structure deck to start my journey and this game has been amazing to learn. i think i started around the time pendulums were JUST coming in.
My first structure deck was Starter Deck: Yugi. I remember seeing it in a mom and pop shop as a little kid and asking my mom for it at the time. Man, that was such a while ago.
Ironically Blaze of Destruction was one of my original decks as a kid! My little brother and I would play for hours along with a few friends when we were little. Loved this episode!!
First ever structure deck I got was actually the recent Cyber Strike structure deck. I was still learning the rules last year and when I picked up the deck I was sooo confused as to how to play it. Didn't also realize how strong of a card imperm was when I picked it up lol Now that I know more about the game and looked up videos on how to play the Cyberdarks, it's a pretty fun deck to go back to from time to time.
Lost Sanctuary Structure Deck was my first, I still have it, I always watched the show but I got structure deck and I was immediately feeling like a duelist, I loved bringing out Splendid Venus, Athena, and of course Master Hyperion, my 3 boss monsters, and "Return from the different dimension" was goated for me, wish it was in Master Duel, but given how many things use banish now, it would be too strong
First Starter Deck was Kaiba, purchased from a random toy store chain that had a store in the local mall because it was before we could get cards from walmart in my area. then i got Yugi, then Pegasus, then Joey. Following that I got Warrior's Triumph and then proceeded to not know how Gilford The Lightning worked so i just used him as a normal monster.
I started out with the Starter Deck Joey. I became VERY attached to the Red Eyes Black Dragon, which is my favorite monster in the game. However, it would be over 20 years before I got enough Red Eyes support to build a deck dedicated to him.
My first structure deck was Freezing Chains, I had just got back into Yugioh and I saw it at my local Gamestop. I didn't know anything about how it worked and I was excited to read the cards and work with it. Then I got a Blue Eyes Structure Deck.
I got the utopia structure deck back in like 5th grade. Always remembered watching the anime where yuma summoned utopia ray and I was frantically searching the structure deck box for the C39. (Not even in the structure deck)
I had Starter Deck Kaiba and Starter Deck Pegasus. I remember getting the Kaiba deck and then going to dinner with my parents after. When Pegasus and Joey dropped, I got Pegasus because of how ridiculously overpowered Relinquished was in the anime.
Mine funnily enough was Saga of Blue Eyes which I have added on to from that to my current blue eyes deck. Actually used to run true king and dark matter in it, but ditched both eventually (dark matter for obvious reasons).
My starter deck was the one with the Elemental Heroes. They were all the rage in my country (Croatia) back in 2007. Unfortunately for me, I had my cousins at my place for Christmas couple years later and I decided to show off my deck. Never saw it again.
Honestly when I was a kid and even when I started getting back into Yu-Gi-Oh more recently I started out by just putting a bunch of random cards together hoping they would work,I lost ever game, now I use elemental heroes and while I still lose most of the time I have managed to win now
I love it when you do videos with @TSamauraix1!! I live for these videos!! 10K likes and you build his deck, he builds your deck and then you duel to see how each one screwed the other. 😂😂😂
my first structure deck was the Yuma deck from Zexal, but the first deck I ever actually built was Witchcrafters, and to this day its still my favorite deck
It'd be interesting to see more decks constructed off one element like this, like maybe two people make two-three different decks and pit them against each other. Be interesting to see two people make two unique water or fire decks and how that plays out.
Kaiba starter was my first deck. The blue eyes that came with it became so worn out it became un-useable but i still used it. It would always give me away to my brother lol.
I think it would be awesome if somehow you could make like a Battle city tournament between the TH-camrs and fans like a select few and duel for like king of games or something idk exactly how it would work but sounds awesome 😎
Kaiba. I remember I was so young I thought it would come with his whole deck from the show, I was so sad it didn't have crush card virus. I was a dumb kid
when i first got into yugioh my first cards were an exodia box. it had alot of different exodias and holos in it including the 5 pieces of it and other cards
Team fire because of two things: 1. I hate Umi control decks, they made me hate water monsters for a very long time. 2. I love watching things burn in fire when I unleash the full fiery wrath of my deck.
My first structure deck was Spellcaster's Judgement featuring one of the single worst monsters in all of Yugioh,... Dark Eradicator Warlock. Never,... EVER,... *EVER* won a single duel with that structure deck. Ever. Not until I swapped out Dark Eradicator and replaced it with a Chaos Command Magician, dropped Blast Magician for another Skilled Dark Magician, swapped out Spell Blast for a 3rd copy of Magical Dimension and replaced Magic Cylinder for a Mirror Force that I had to buy at a whopping $55 in 2006. Then and only then did I start winning duels.
It's wild how the writers knew Rhyme would be OP if he actually read his cards
That way he'll know what they have
@@derrickjuinor it’s also pretty crazy how racist Sam is to Deion
