And the internet would cut out if anyone phoned the landline. Me Nana would phone and I'd be going mental. I heard Let's All Make Believe months and months before Shoulder Of Giants came out. Listened to it for months and months. Still my favourite Oasis tune. Liam was in his absolute prime from 97-01. Noel had lost his spark. Should've rationed the late DM b-sides and all the WTSMG tunes out. Moved too fast. But, I like that. Rock 'n' roll. Rebels. Mad cunts. I love it.
But the b sides added to the momentum and excitement of their rise. You were like ...if these are the b sides, what are the songs on the 3rd album gonna be like.?!! Wouldnt swap being a teenager in the 90s for today. For the 60s maybe but not any other time

Gawd, the tone on Noel's guitar in the opening of Rock n Roll Star. Swooning. Actually, the whole thing. I'm swooning over that tone for the whole damn thing.

I keep finding myself here, just re-listening to this recording. I really enjoy this rendition of Talk Tonight - truly a breath of fresh air from the original version. And need I say more about My Generation? MINT.
Surprised that no one's commented on the 'Who Feels Love?' here. It's fucking mega. No other live performance was better than it; Rock Im Park came close, but not quite.
I bloody love the solo on Sunday morning call. I remember this album coming out and Radio 1 (I think), played ‘as long as they’ve got cigarettes in hell’ the night before the release on a special programme and I taped it on my parents stereo. I miss those days so much.
Craig Anderson I agree. Too many people go on about Liam’s peak ending in 97. No he was in his peak until about April 2000. The Wembley shows were the start of his voice showing wear and tear. He sounds fantastic here and he did on the Jools Holland special at around the same time.

Can’t disagree. Liam’s voice here is not only outstanding for 2000 standards, but also is sounding very electric and fits the song perfectly
Gem Archer and Andy Bell were such good addition to the band and here Liam's voice was at its peak. Very good guitar job from Noel on all songs

As a band, absolute full power. But Noel had written his best tunes by now. I wish this band had recorded Noel's firts solo album
Who feels love is out of this world. Talk tonight too. Take me back to those days....Liam's voice, Noel's lyrics and melodies are untouchable.
Who Feels Love here kicks the shit out of the album version, unreal
Totally! It sounds way more alive and less sterile. Maybe they should have re recorded standing on the shoulder once they recruited Andy and Gem.
